I see your point but I don't think Chicoutimi wanted Mercer bad enough to pay all that without some futures attached. If this is it, it's an overpayment IMO. Mercer is a good player and I like him but he is not worth all that. He is 18 so you are paying for 2 years. You can trade him next year for a boatload. CHI will be cashing in on Mercer. |

Yeah thats the most important thing to consider when factoring the value. It still seems a bit high when considering the 2020 bathurst 2nd will be a top 20 selection as well That Bat 2020 2nd was just traded back to Bat for Chi 2021 2nd. Not sure why because like you said that Bat 2020 2nd is almost like a 1st. it's part of the Lavoie deal i think...the 2021 2nd so they needed to acquire it |

I just hope they add another D. Maybe upgrade on Huntley although he has been doing ok lately. Huntley is probably bumped down to 5th now so I have no problem keeping him there. You can do better than him but it all comes at a cost. He is a very good third pair guy so he isn't hurting us. Yeah I'm more than fine with Stewart Dejong and Huntley as #4-5-6 with MacLellan adding depth. |

Moncton picks up Ryan MacLellan from Rouyn for a 2020 7th round pick. Decent depth add. Somewhat surprised he cost that much since he's spent half his time in Jr A I believe but could be a solid 3rd pairing/2nd PP guy in the event of an injury. MacLellan has been with RN all season. Hasn't been in JR A for 2 years. |

Either eliteprospects had an error there before they changed him to being on Moncton or I was looking at the wrong tab on my browser. |

I'm not the biggest Huntley fan but I'm not sure i'd trade him for a marginal upgrade. He's a veteran and probably well liked by his teammates.
