And, maybe the inaction on upgrading him means that Aspirot is still a possibility. That would be awesome !!! I was recently looking up how Aspirot is doing. since december 1st he has a line of 0-7-7 +13 in 9 gp. It looks like he's been there best Defenceman so I'd put the odds of being back close to 0%. |

The Aspirot ship has sailed at this point. He's not coming back.
I get the sense that Huntley is very well liked in the room so I don't have any particular big issue with keeping him. Probably not worth moving for a small upgrade with the amount of new guys already coming in.

The Q site has not been updated for 10 mins ... trade period is closed ... last deal showing is CA Roy to Sherbrooke. Did the McIsaac deal fall through ? Are there moving parts that have to be verified before it gets posted ? Wildcats haven't reported it yet, but did report the Maclellan deal. I'm getting nervous.
Oops ... one new trade announced ... but not McIsaac yet.
edit: Hmmmm ... Anderson MacDonald has been released by Bathurst, which could mean we owe them something. Suggesting a 2nd and 6th on the Titan board which could be screwing up this McIsaac deal.

You would think that if the McIsaac deal was agreed to months ago it would be the first trade posted of the day. Gotta think something is up.
Also RImouski paid a 2nd for Creed Jones. I can understand why the Cats would balk at that.

I have no issue with the trades the Cats made this year, my only deception is that they didnāt manage assets better since the 16-17 scorched earth rebuild. They will end up with a near bare cupboard heading into next year after all the futures, had they not wasted a bunch of assets on short term moves and the A.MacDonald āprojectā they would be in a good position for a 3-4 year rebuild back to contender, now they are looking at 5 years.
