No suspension vs Lafrenière... Some people will be upset and say Lafreniere is getting special treatment, the league got it right. Watching the replay of the video from the corner where you can see clearly there wasn't much force behind the slash to the hand/glove. Khovanov was very obviously putting on a performance by going down to the ice like he got his entire arm removed. It's a 2 minute penalty that the Refs let go. To me that should never turn into a suspension.

I hate when Khovanov does that because he will end up costing the team a legit call at a crucial time but he still lacks maturity for things like that. But he is a good player and when he is in it he helps the team and makes his teammates better.

Well.... you knew they weren’t going to run the table out undefeated but it seemed from the get go that they assumed these 2 points were theirs for just showing up...... hopefully a little humble pie and back to work, cause if tonight’s game was any indication we could see a 3 game losing streak here with a Drummondville team tomorrow who spanked Saint John tonight and a Cape Breton team Wednesday who was able to spank These same Remparts 6-1 last Wednesday....
Time to put the work boots back on and earn wins regardless of opponents we face. This Quebec team could be your first round opponent....

They started out flat and Rodrigue wasn't super sharp, once Quebec got up 3-1 they were trapping like crazy, the WC missed on a lot of passes. I was expecting them to lose one but I expected it to be Drum or CB.

I thought Dow had a solid game tonight.
Interesting stat, he has not scored a goal since Bantam in 16-17!!!

11 days left in the season… Vs CB-tonight Vs Hal-Friday Vs SJ-Sunday At Cha(20th) At Hal(21st)
Other than CB those are games the WC should win, at this point, it’s more about playing the right way and going into the playoffs on a roll. Even the 1st round won’t be easy, you want to get on whichever team that is and win it in 4 or 5 to save fuel for rounds 2 and hopefully beyond.
From a business standpoint, I'm sure the WC would love to play Quebec, from a hockey standpoint, BC makes more sense as they are not playing as well. SJ is also an option. SJ is a compromise choice.
SJ 61pts in 64 games(at Bat, at Mon, vs CB x 2) BC 59pts in 63 games(at Chi, vs Vic, vs Chi, at Rim x 2) Que 59pts in 64 games(vs Rim, vs She, at Chi, vs Chi)
