As there has been very little talk on the board I thought I would make one thread for the last 10 games.
#59 Tonight the Dogs are playing the Mooseheads to make up for the missed game of Feb 7.
If the dogs can play a full 60 min this should not be a problem for them. Last game started good but half way the 2nd period they went over to the trap system with one F dropping back. That almost costed them the win. That, and of course the many penalties we took in the third.
Play 60 min, stay out of the box and win this one easily.
Go Dogs Go!!!

Deakin Poot back in the line up tonight. I guess O'Neill is back watching the game?

It will be interesting to see how many tickets are redeemed tonight. The Sea Dogs site shows limited availability for tonight but that just means most tickets for the original date haven't been redeemed for another game yet. It doesn't mean they'll all be used tonight.

This is the replay of the Classified game.
If I'm Cowan, I have reminders of what happened all around.

It was the right opponent for D to take a night off cause if it was any other team it would have been a slaughter. At least our goalies have been stealing some games lately.

Best game for Lehmus as a Sea Dog tonight. Up 3-2 going into the third and he has a goal and 2 assists. Roy with another 2 points.
Go Sea Dogs!!

Exciting game last night! Hope they can follow it up with a strong effort tonight. Another 50+ shot night for Bouthillier, and a ton of quality scoring chances. A great pickup by the Dogs. On the flip side, watching the Eagles I couldn’t help but wish we still had Larose.

Onto games #61, 62 and 63. All against the Islanders. First one at home, then two on the road. The Islanders have had our number this season, but they have been struggling as of lately. Bathurst took them to OT twice and the only regulation win in the last 7 games was against the Eagles. I do believe that the Islanders are getting all their injured players back (or are back) so I don't expect any easy games.

Out played - out smarted - out worked - out hustled - out muscled - out coached - out run
All out bad game
At least the Islanders fans had something to cheer for

Playing a fresher team and getting into big penalty trouble was a recipe for a tough outing. The positive is both Quebec and Baie-Comeau have tough schedules to make it difficult for them to catch the Dogs for 6th. Would be nice to avoid the top 2 teams.
