Thought I would start this for discussion sakes since there has been little to discuss during the down time.
I'm not sure if the Dogs should do anything at this point due to Covid but if they do or if this was a normal year.
What should they do?
Should they stand pat and hopefully Gilbert can get things turned around with the group they have?
Should they move a couple of pieces to fix the defensive play.
If Kotkov is not able to come. They should try and at least get a high End 20 year old.

Fortier would be a nice add but isn't he turning pro if the AHL starts up? I guess the keyword is IF!

Leighton Carruthers: Keep or Trade? I wouldn't be actively looking to trade him but I wouldn't say he's untouchable either if the right offer was made. I definitely wouldn't move him for anyone not coming back next season. |

I'd be interested in buying a decent 20, assuming Kotkov can't come and possibly even if he can. Even with some sort of conditions in case there is no playoffs, I'm not sure I'd want to spend too much and grab an elite guy but even a B level 20 year old should help this team.

The only reason the NHL starts up is because they have a TV deal that gets them through it. Leagues that require fans in the seats to pay the bills aren't starting up anytime soon. |
