Prikryl went back in the the draft but only we could pick him up now (the Bezak rule).

Alex definitely needed a change of scenery. Wasn't working out for him here.
He was turning into a 3rd liner here.
Maybe thats all he will be there as well.

While I don't want to absolve him of all blame, it's also tough not to feel a bit sorry for Alex. He was traded from a fairly stacked Cape Breton team a few years back to a Sea Dogs team that couldn't even legally carry him on their roster full time, then was buried under other 2002 born talent here in Saint John. Really hoping he gets a chance to shine in Rimouski. That said, now it's up to him, he'll have no excuses there because Rimouski is selling the farm. |
