Quebec Jr. A has played 4 games and has virtually no chance of playing again. He can't cross into the States until the new year and wouldn't be eligible to play Jr. A out of province.
He gets more options in the fall, but right now it is Q or don't play.

I believe the MHL is going to try and play next week in Nova Scotia division only ... not sure if any of the others are in action. Would USHL be an option? He wouldn't have a tonne of options outside the Q in a normal year - even less this year ...

It still looks like s trade will happen, but if no one will pay, he will be back. Wouldn't there be a bunch of Canadians already down there playing USHL or NCAA? They somehow crossed the border ... or was it a lengthy process involving student visas or something?

The issue with Roy is that he is registered for school up here and it would be too late to transfer.
