If anybody from the US were to come, it would be a heck of a shot in the arm. Obviously, we've drafted the guys we have for this possibility (even if it is remote). We'll also call the agent for every 20 year-old that could return and any other possible option. Daoust would be a great fit if he isn't playing enough in Belleville. Excellent 2 way guy that can play in any situation like Groulx did for Mon in 19-20. 0 goals in 14 games and hasnt played the last 2 games. Its a little mind boggling to me he hasn't been sent back, but the Wildcats have had absolutely terrible luck lately with assets so  |

Well after last night's game. My wish list 19 yr old goalie to share duties with patendeau 19 yr old shut down d 2 20 yr old top six Euro upgrade Gone lemieux innis burns Victoriaville might be a good target, still a few huge pieces left over from last year that could help. Nicholas Hurtubise and Vincent Sevigny would both be pretty good pieces to add. Not many goalies that are likely to be available, Olivier Adam from Baie-Comeau is putting up good numbers despite playing on a weak team, Samuel Richard from Rouyn may be a nice add too. There's not really much out there for a Euro upgrade, tho Ivan Ivan is having a really underrated season. I don't know much about Matej Kaslik, but he's putting up some decent numbers too.... The Sea Dogs have been playing much better of late, but, they still need some grit and leadership. Obviously I think Desnoyers is the prime target. |

Way to 1 dimensional. Really don’t think Management moves him tho. Innis had a good game but I agree he needs to go. Lemieux was a terrible pick up to begin with payed to much for a OA goalie imo. My targets if I were them are. Vincent Sevigny Pierick Dube/Felix LaFrance Desnoyers Peeters/Ivan Ivan Lapenna I also wouldn’t mind seeing the sea dogs bring in a player like Blagdon from the wildcats to be a 14th forward incase we need the extra sandpaper come playoff time they are to soft imo. I also wouldn’t mind swapping Derosches out with a shut down guy if they do in fact pick up sevigny who is a target I heard they may be interested in. |

I liked what I saw from Shingarov tonight. He wasn't amazing but he wasn't awful. What you'd expect from a backup. I'd give him him the start tomorrow. If he has another decent game then I'd say let's go with Patenaude/Shingarov, pick up a 20 and keep Inniss.
Doesn't matter what the cost for Lemieux was. Just like the goalies last season, he is not getting it done with this team. It doesn't matter what he did before he got here or what he might do after he leaves, he's not been playing well for this team. Keeping him as the #1 guy won't get the assets back that it cost to acquire him. Patenaude was signed 3 years ago as a free agent with hopes that he would be the #1 guy this year and he's been playing great.
If we acquire another 20, I can only think of one reason for keeping Lemieux over Inniss. We might get more in return for moving Inniss.
And Inniss is pretty popular with the normies (casual fans). I even heard one say that he's Boko Imamma's cousin. 🤣

He’s to easy to knock off the puck and probably the biggest defensive liability in the Q also can’t win puck battles |

He’s to easy to knock off the puck and probably the biggest defensive liability in the Q also can’t win puck battles All of this is correct, but he has a knack for being in the right place at the right time. There is room on a Memorial Cup team for a player like this, but only one. |
