23 goals playing with a very very good team and top line mates. 19 year old season usually means you take right off. So if we do get him maybe he will start to out score McCluskey finally. World jr? Ya look at the country he played for . 3rd line guy in this team maybe while they other euros could fit anywhere top 6. He is super lazy also and Sapelnikov has 5 times the worth ethic. That "very very good" team finished 20-38-0-5. Lazy he is.

thing is Peeters may just need a change of scenery, put him with more talented line mates and he may be able to get it going, people are quick to forget he has an unbelievable shot as well. While Ansons and Ivan are the better euros, you may be getting a cheaper option that could take off.
But that brings me to another point and there is a definite risk acquiring him and he doesn't bounce back... then it could look bad. But with any trades there's always risks, some greater then others.
something may have fell through as well in terms of trying to get Ivan or Ansons and this was their backup plan, unless other teams already have something in place for them. But then again SJ can basically outbid any buyer so idk.
SJ is definitely not done though.

You may be confusing 2018-19 with 19-20 because the 19-20 Mooseheads was one of the worst teams the franchise has ever iced, especially after trades were done. Kevin Gursoy and D'Artagnan Joly weren't exactly elite, and before Christmas he was mostly playing on the second line with a rookie Zack Jones with some powerplay time, as Lavoie, Groulx and Trepanier were the one line the Mooseheads had.

If he's on a line with Burns and Reynolds or MacDonald (ie 3rd line), i can handle it.
Desnoyers - Lawrence - Dufour Add - Add - Francis Burns - Reynolds/MacDonald --Peeters Picard - Reynolds/MacDonald - Bezeau Savoie Chantler/Laforge Mccluskey

So is Peeters being traded to Saint John for sure? No, the only mention of it was by Martin Lahaie (who is a poster on the French board)

Victo just added another goalie from Rouyn, is it possible hurtubise is on his way to SJ? It’s possible that they needed a warm body to sit on the bench down the stretch but I don’t know if I’d be reading too much into them acquiring a goalie with a GAA above 5 and a sub .850 save percentage. It’s possible it’s just a depth situation where they have no one else and want someone around but it does make you think about the potential of them moving a goalie.

No, the only mention of it was by Martin Lahaie (who is a poster on the French board) how credible is he? It might be true, but the safe bet would be to wait for a journalist to post it before you put anything into it. For now, it's fun to speculate about any possibilities that get mentioned.

No, the only mention of it was by Martin Lahaie (who is a poster on the French board) how credible is he? He's credible but it's junior hockey. Being credible and not being right dont always go hand in hand. Drake Batherson was credibly on his way to Bathurst a few years ago. And then he was not. Things change pretty quickly at this level. So even the absolute most credible can appear to be not so credible at certain times.

No, the only mention of it was by Martin Lahaie (who is a poster on the French board) how credible is he? He's a Gatineau fan. If it was a trade involving Gatineau he would probably be very accurate or reliable. I'd take this one with a grain of salt. Outside of Gatineau he's hit or miss. He also doesn't mind stirring the pot a little at times either so..... Take a "believe it when I see it" approach.

Lahaie is well connected within the Q. he is the one that maintains the draft picks database.
