Wouldn’t be surprised to see a deal around Ouellette and Marshall Lessard go down if Lessard is available… obviously we would need to send more than Ouellette but a good base

With the news from New Brunswick and Nova Scotia with decreases in attendance I wouldn’t be surprised if Dr. Morrison announces something similar today. The thing I’m scared of is her not allowing anyone in she seems to always take things more serious when these threats comes than the other provinces. This variant and threat couldn’t come at a worse time for Q fans the trade period is the funnest time of year to follow things. Hopefully after Christmas things get back to the “new normal” and we can all still enjoy doing things and not be locked down but at this point I figure another lock down is on the way.

With the news from New Brunswick and Nova Scotia with decreases in attendance I wouldn’t be surprised if Dr. Morrison announces something similar today. The thing I’m scared of is her not allowing anyone in she seems to always take things more serious when these threats comes than the other provinces. Which is odd as PEI Public health is recommending for vaxx pass activities and events to maintain 6 ft apart which in the rink there is no way unless you limit how many are there. |

Trade period starts tomorrow I wonder if we see any early deals? This should have been an all jn type year but with very little assets and the uncertainty with covid now I could see JH standing Pat and seeing how the chips fall maybe some minor deals but can’t see us keeping up with SJ and the Titan for that matter.

We made 1 big move yes.. but there needs to be more added up front there’s no doubt about it.. SJ and the Titan are going all in I think we need some serious help at least 1 big name in the top 6 to stay a top of things. I like our D and feel Satny is the man.. again Goobie let in a softy last night.. we need some definite scoring depth added.

I agree, definitely need a proven scorer and some depth. But as of now, we’re the better team of the three. They need to catch up to us.
Both of those teams have unproven coaches, as well as teams that have been known to go in big slumps. If we add a few pieces, I’m not sure I’d be too overly worried..

Seeing a few interesting leaks of trades on twitter, obviously taken with a grain of salt, but so far nothing about the Islanders. Looks like SJ is really loading up, as expected.

with SJ going for Desnoyers/Sevigny/etc.
Bathurst going for Lafrance/Belgarde
I think Charlottetown really needs to try and rival these trades. Doucet/Lessard out of Val d'Or, or Zack Roy out of Blainville comes to mind as guys they really should target. Can't sit back and wait too long. Gatineau, Quebec, Shawinigan, Sherbrooke all likely to add as well so there will be competition.
