Loshing- Labelle- Beaudoin Barbashev- Taibel- Auger Smith- Mueller- Mercier Tatarenko- Lounsbury- Daniel Pavan, McPhee Morin- Hamel Iasenza- Grenier Fortier-Gendron- Darcy Solomon- Dollemont Filion Steinman This looks about right to me, although some of the FA's I have no idea how good they are. There's no way they trade 2 3rds for Beaudoin to put him on the 3rd line. Playing with Loshing and Labelle theres no reason he cant put up 20+ goals while balancing out the size and physicality of that line. How good is the league Tatarenko played in compared to the CCHL ? The NOJHL is one of the weakest junior A leagues in the country - the occasional good player comes out of there, but overall calibre is not great. So wait and see on Tatarenko.

With Barbashev and Taibel already back how could they add Tatarenko? Aren't CHL teams only allowed two import players on roster?

He would not be considered an import as he's been playing hockey in Canada since at least age 14 according to his prospect page - similar to Kuzmin and Putintsev for the Cats in the past.

Keep in mind Tatarenko wasn’t playing there because he can’t play in other leagues, he’s there because the North Bay Battalion wanted to keep him close by as a call up and had signed him to a standard player package. He’s got skill and he has size, he may very well turn into nothing or not do enough at camp to warrant a spot on the roster but I also don’t think he should be written off either. He’s intriguing enough that I’d rather give him a shot and see what he can do, then stick with some guys that I don’t think are ever going to bring much.

Yeah, but neither of them showed up last year either so not really surprising that they didn’t show up again. That 2020 draft was a real rough one - Hopkins, Rozzi and Katz were top 5 round picks and none reported. Hopefully they have better luck with Smith from this draft

Hopefully they have better luck with Smith from this draft I'm satisfied with Mercier as a compensation pick for Hopkins. No complaints there. Rozzi appears to be somewhat of a bust so far. 19 points in 61 USHL games. Katz was interested in coming to Moncton. When Filion was acquired in the Spence trade, he had a change of heart.

Pretty positive comments. Hopefully he’s committed to playing in Moncton. Any reason why his video came out so much later than every other player’s video?
