Pavan is back in vs Baie Comeau, Mercier appears to be a healthy scratch and the odd man out for tonight? Seems like a bit of a surprising move for a team that has claimed to be focused on a development cycle a year or two from now.

Mercier's production seems to have gone backwards by a lot, might be a wake up call. |

I think there is room for both - you can be in a development cycle but still make the kids earn their ice time. Mercier has been in a funk - getting scratched on occasion won’t hurt him. |
