Obviously, I haven’t seen him play, but his stats aren’t indicative that he’s a major junior calibre player. Last year he scored 15 points in 37 games as a 16 year old in a 16 and under league. I’ll be interested in seeing him actually play. |

I’ll be interested in seeing him actually play. I always find it very difficult to judge how the American kids stack up because their youth leagues vary so much in quality. |

It looks to me like he's a skill guy with good hands and decent size but it's really difficult to say if it will translate since it's unclear what type of competition he's playing against. Niagra obviously saw something in him to pick him in the 6th round but you'd think he'd be in the USHL already if he had the talent. He's 17 so worth a look although there's already such good depth with this team I'm not sure how he fits in. His cousin is a 3rd round pick of the rangers according to elite prospects |

Ritchie Thibeau says he is currently 6’1” and 195 pounds with room to grow. His brother is 6’4” and 200+. Ritchie compares him to Matt Marquardt. |

Lyons is off to a hot start in Jr. A and would have been the easy move. |
