You guys have the better D-Core and goaltending, and both will be huge factors in winning. You guys may not have a Bolduc or a Bourque/Bourgault, but still having a strong forward core with an edge on D and in nets compared to both Quebec/Shawinigan, I think you's take it.

Guay has 21 playoff pts Budgell has 14pts. Top pt getter on Shaw is Bourque with 15. Guay has 10 playoff goals. Budgell has 9. No Shawinigan or Remps are in top 5 in goals scored. Remps have nobody in top 5 in pts, goals or assists.

....and with Hyun Jin Ryu pitching tonight for the Jays (I'm not a Ryu fan) I'll be watching game #5 tonight between Shawinigan vs the Ramparts. Is it on TV or just webcast.

I think that Shawinigan is built a little like Sherbrooke. They aren't necessarily a veteran team (like us and Quebec). The Shawinigan first line is Nadeau/Bourgault/Bourque. All three are NHL drafted and Bourque and Bourgault are both NHL first rounders who should immediately be able to step into the AHL and have a prominent role next season as 20 y/o players. It likely is an awesome line and and probably even better than the Roy/Parent combo we saw often, playing with Anctil.
The second line they ran on Monday was Charles Beaudoin, Lorenzo Canonica, and Pierrick Dube. Dube played ECHL this year and came back to the Q, but I think both of our top 2 lines are better than this trio.
As for Quebec.... I think they are built a lot like us. They have a veteran team and brought in some experience at the trade deadline. Quebec has a lot of depth. Here's the lines they ran last game:
Bolduc/Rochette/Frenette Malatesta/Gaucher/PO Roy Marjala/Huchette/Coulombe Gaudet/Filion/Gravel
Those first two lines are great. Bolduc and Rochette are both game breakers. I've always been impressed with Malatesta's talent, but he's not as consistent as Bolduc and Rochette. Gaucher is a top prospect and might end up in the first round of the NHL draft this year. Marjala is NHL drafted and on the third line.
I think there's a lot of similarities between their top two lines and ours..... lots of talent and experience
On the blueline, they were running:
Nause/Crevier Savoie/Komarov Truchon/Cournouyer
That's a strong top pair, but I think we're deeper on the blueline.
I'm not as familiar with the goalies, but they look to have similar stats to one another
The money should be on Quebec to win the game tonight, but that Shawinigan top line could win the game themselves, if all breaks the right way.
So they are really different teams to stack up.... but the same truth remains.... home ice will be a major factor in the final series.

Damn near a tie in all stats. Shots and faceoffs are pretty even.
