rebuilding teams need fans to. I know it sucks when you get your getting your butts kicked night after night but these boys work hard and need fans to cheer them on!

Also, we can expect some Ontario FA at camp next season.
Romeo is playing pretty solid for a 17yr old rookie.

you really felt you needed to tell me that ? lol i'm simply stating the hockey this year has been atrociously boring It usually is with rebuilding teams. I wouldn't call Hughes a project. I would call him a solid pickup who should be here for two more seasons......unless traded for assets. 6pts 6gp 17pim. He has a great shot and not afraid to mix it up. The two dmen they picked up are nice additions.....nothing fancy, but both still 18. I really like Hinkley. Get this season over with and see what the draft holds. And I'm a fan of 16yr old Campbell.....I think he could turn into a nice little player. I like what I've seen from Campbell too I like what I've seen from Kearsay I like Michaud potential and I think there's a player in Romeo Topilnickyj is okay also but thats far from a rebuild Hughes has shown well thus far but of course he's a reclamation project.... third Q team halfway thru his 18 year old season... full definition of reclamation Michel is ok..... but nothing special Hinkley I need to see more of but adding 18 year olds the year after going for a title is not a rebuild.... it's a retool Repcik was also a recalamtion project.... but being a Euro it was one worthwhile taking

Just noticed Robbie Rutledge is off the roster... a reply to a JF Plante tweet says his name alongside Nadeau and Austin.
Not much of a surprise, a forgettable move to spot versus everything else that's happened.
Wish the Isles social media was a bit more active with moves... same with game recaps.

This is my first rebuild year as a fan/follower of the Islanders and I didn't know what to expect. I just hope we can be a bit more competitive through the rest of the season

Would be pretty crazy if true to see a top end Euro walk away from a strong contender. This year more than ever we are seeing good players either walk away from their situation and even take a step back from the game. Anything is possible. On Brabenec, don’t forget he is AHL eligible, so this could be in the cards as well. Hearing brabenec isn’t reporting and went home today

Just noticed Robbie Rutledge is off the roster... a reply to a JF Plante tweet says his name alongside Nadeau and Austin.. He brought not a lot to the team. 16yr old Campbell brings more to the ice then he did.... Now have: 13 fw's 7 D 2 tendys

There are still many 20s on the move post deadline….some of whom are very good players.
I’m beginning to see that any return on Biakabatuka would be pretty meagre and understand keeping him…..and it kind of puts in perspective the return on Frankie, even with the surplus players heading our way who did not stick around.

13 forwards listed now WITHOUT Campbell on the list…..so looking like 14 FW for the rest of the way….which is plenty.

He's back in Canada tomorrow.

Hearing brabenec isn’t reporting and went home today There is an article, not in English, where he says he and a few guys were given a bit time off to go home. He also says in that article he plans to return to the Q and play with Sherbrooke. Again, not English so it was translated but it seems like they were given the opportunity to go home for a bit

Actually thought Rutledge played his best hockey since Xmas.. this team is a mess He didn't provide much... Campbell is better overall....and makes the lineup better.

Yeah I get that but overall this organization is a mess right now.. if Austin isn’t injured that looks really bad on Hulton. I think Jim has done an impeccable job since taking over here besides that last 6 months since that draft a lot of His moves have been poor. But obviously going to give him the benefit of the doubt
