I was going to make a thread about it but I couldn't get my photos to upload from my phone. The new scoreboard is being installed! It's a lot bigger than I expected it to be. It'll look pretty sharp when it's finally in use.

I really didn't know much of Dman, Carl-Etienne Michel when the Isles picked him up via trade, but I'm very happy with his game.
With Sherbrooke he went:
17GP 1G 1A 2pts
With the Isles he is: 18GP 1G 6A 7pts
Just going through his stats.....he finished every season on the + side of the +/- stat in his Q career so far.

He is looking much more comfortable with each passing game.
They said he was a guy they really liked in his draft year.

Last week Jim said there’s more coming in the Brabanec and Lapenna deals I wonder if that’s upgraded picks or future players?

I'm curious to see what Hulton does this off season to address the goaltending situation.
Robillard will be gone. Grimes will be 20yrs....and probably not in Major Junior next season.
With Mirimichi in the MHL, Flanagan has a 5-3 record.
2.91 GAA .903 SV%
There is still hope that he can come back next season and fill 1 of the empty goaltending slots.
Trade, FA, Import draft to find another netminder to potentially find their #1 netminder.

Also. Nathan Mossey has 11pts in 18gp with the Knights from the backend.
Good opportunity for Nathan to crack this roster next season as an 18yr old.
Evan Nicholson a 16yr old who is also with the Knights has 29pts in 22gp......another player who could crack this lineup next season as a 17yr old.

Being just 17, I've been very impressed with Topilnyckyj on defence.
Only played 9 games last season when needed a D called up.....so still in his "rookie season".
I think he has a solid Q career in front of him.

I think he has a solid Q career in front of him. He’s good in tight, but gets beat every time on the transition to the outside, every time. But he’s young, long legs, speed should come along tho. On another note, Ive seen a Canucks scout in my section a few times taking in games.

For a player fairly new to the league, you really don't often see him out of place or not covering the player he's supposed to. He's gonna be a very dependable player for us.

Had there been any update on Tessier?

We’ve got a lot of guys who are bringing very strong play in an audition for jobs for next year. I think that’s been a key to the strong effort we have seen in the second half. It would be very easy for some guys to play out the chute when we dealt away our best players. But we have guys who bring the effort nightly in hopes of landing a spot on the 23-24 roster.
Morneau and Tessier are showing nicely as potential 20 y/o options along with Horth for next year. Morneau had no major junior experience prior to this. I feel he’s starting to look like a guy who will really pop offensively at 20…and maybe a good candidate to wear a letter.
Isaac Vos spent the first part of the season as a spare part defenceman. But he’s really worked to improve his game with his second half play. Some injuries have resulted in him getting in the lineup more than expected in the second half and he’s taken every advantage of the opportunity.
Lyons had a slow start but is coming along now. He was in last chance territory being in his 3rd organization at 18. But the talent seemed to be there. Maybe with increased confidence his game will continue to go.
We attract the right kind of players and we develop the right kind of players.

Will be interesting to see what takes place at the draft.
George Matthew's has mentioned that there will be a 1st rd pick coming at the draft and 17/18 yr old player(s).
