On these boards in recent years we've taken many shots (sometimes fair and sometimes unfair) at the regression of coverage of the QMJHL... both by local media and the league itself. so we are four days out from opening the season and I honestly have no clue who is still in camp, who is away and returning from rookie camps etc?
this is like the least amount of info the team has ever shared coming into a season that I can remember

Somewhat has to do with the 20 y/o situation, I suppose. But I'm not looking to make excuses. There was really no announcement that players were heading to NHL camps.... let alone when they might be returning. Plus, there's been some late adds to the TC roster (O'Donnell and Anselmini) that we didn't know about until they appeared in exhibition games. And we didn't know that LeBlanc and Stairs were actually going to join the team in camp. At some point this 20 y/o situation needs to be resolved. I like all 6 guys, but we can only keep 3. The Guay pro signing likely means that someone good is going to be headed to Blainville, but we will have to see. We are painted into a corner here where our extra guys will be let walk for nothing in return..... and they might have a hard time finding a spot to play at the major junior level. so we are four days out from opening the season and I honestly have no clue who is still in camp, who is away and returning from rookie camps etc? this is like the least amount of info the team has ever shared coming into a season that I can remember |

And also, as we remember, before getting a season ending injury, Leblanc was playing his best hockey of his Major Junior career.
How healthy is he currently?
