Ethan Dollemont was released by Moncton. He would be a good addition to the Saint John D core. I dont know the player, but SJ has 3 vet RH DFD, and a bunch of younger LHD. |

So if I were guessing at our final roster, it would prob look something like:
Reynolds - MacDonald - OA
Simek - Trenholm - Barry
Thifault - Burbidge - Elie
MacDonald - Campbell - Laforge
Szczerba Mateiko
Bilodeau - Desroches
Tivey - Cosman
Welsh - Despont
Richard Tracey
Hurtubise
Brideau
(Assuming that Welsh is reporting to main camp and will have a spot)

I liked Reinhart in the game against Moncton on August 19.
I think he can make the team.

Of the players Briwhel didn't list in his mock lineup, I liked what I saw - in limited viewings - of Danny Akkouche and Noah Reinhart.
As for Cael MacDonald, I thought the Sea Dogs needed to make a trade with Chicoutimi to acquire his rights. I may be wrong though.
I also feel that there may be a waiver wire acquisition and/or another OHL or WHL free agent to be added to the mix before the start of the season.
I can also see the Sea Dogs start the season with 4 overagers, including Marshall Lessard - to allow him time to recover from his "lower body injuries".
