VD just traded Doucet. along with Rodidas. Mccallum and Provost could be next along with possibly Paquet(??) and Blackburn. They are currently 10th(9th OA pick0 and that should drop to bottom 5-6 by year end.

They are currently 10th(9th OA pick0 and that should drop to bottom 5-6 by year end. Paquet left Val d'Or quite a while ago. Supposed injury but there seem to be hints it is something else. Apparently he hasn't had a locker there for like a month. I don't know if he is viable for anyone right now. That said, yes Val d'Or should sink like a stone. I had them last place in my prediction because of the fire sale they'd have. They've done enough in the first half to avoid that but the 2nd half could be ugly. |

Do you think we’ll be making anymore moves ? I’d like to see Pavan moved to make room for younger guys. I don’t see much else besides that

Stories around the rinks yesterday, that there are more maritimers asking to be "closer to home", than La Belle Province! Things not going as planned on at the current squads. Bit of a trend Lawrence, Hughes, Plando, Biggar
A couple high end guys among them. So "they say" Phones are buzzin.
Apparently the Cats and the Cape could be the prime landing spots.

Do you think we’ll be making anymore moves ? I’d like to see Pavan moved to make room for younger guys. I don’t see much else besides that Barbashev to Que is the only other move I could see, but only if a premium is paid. I think they still want to finish 3rd or 4th in then conference to get a favorable first round match-up. You could see a scenario where he's moved and they add a 19 year old forward who will be back as a 20. It might also be time for the Bishop experiment to be over. |

I don't like the trade at all, but there is logic to it. Suggestion on the forum that broke the Desruisseault thing a week ago was that Eagles are targeting 24/25 and the Sags are targeting 25/26. So the exchange of 1sts means each team gets an extra impact rookie (or asset to trade) in the year they are targeting. |
