Regulation losses to Victoriaville and Blainville drops Val dOr into 15th overall which gives the Wildcats two balls in the lottery and a 10% chance at 1st overall. Next weeks schedule sees the Foreurs play Victoriaville on Thursday and Rouyn on Sunday. VD could easily drop to 18th...They have 40 points in 50 games... Cha has 39 points in 48 games Bathurst has 38 points in 49 games SJ has 36 points in 48 games A few wins and those teams pass VD. All three being in the same division means somebody gets 2 or 3 points when they play head to head. Plus CB is at 41 poimnts in 48 games. CB and Bathurst play 3 more times, Cha and CB play three more times. SJ and CB play 4 more times. Cb plays Dru next weekend. Cha plays SJ 5 times, they play Bat twice. they play Dru once. Bathurst has SJ 3 times VD only has 1 Dru game and 1 Cb game Very much a possibility at this point.

Val'Dor dominating Victo. Didn't see that happening On the positive side, Charlottetown won, Drummondville won and CB lost in OT. Victo losing again helps that pick, they were 1st(18th) at midseason, now 5th(14th).

Also, Chicoutimi will automatically get the 12th and 16th pick in the 1st round as compensation for Sacha Boisvert and Xavier Veilleux.

HockeyProspects released the Top 100 Draft Prospects today. Anyone know who the top 2-3 players are that we might have a chance at? Also, does anyone know if Desnoyers is related to former Cat Elliot?

Funny fact, the bottom 4 teams in the standing don't have their 1st rounder, I don't recall ever seeing that before.
1-Bat(Chi) 38 pts in 52 games 2-SJ(VD) 40 pts in 51 games 3-VD(Mon) 44pts in 53 games 4-Cha(Rim) 44 pts in 52 games

Spence trade, thank god because Filion has been a complete flop. The return for Spence has not panned out nearly as well as what they got for Pelletier.

Based on today's standings the Cats would pick 3rd(pre lottery) 10th and 16th. I'll remind you again Chicoutimi has two compensation picks in the 1st round (12th and 16th). Sherbrooke's pick would currently be 18th.
