8 teams now listed as without a head coach, Favreau resigns in Halifax which is a shocker , Stephane Leroux on Twitter mentions the list of candidates, there are 14 names listed and some are very interesting including Dominique Ducharme, Eric Veilleux, Gilles Bouchard , other names mentioned are Jim midgely , Darren rumble, Louis Robitaille, jon goyens , Steve Hartley, Bruce Richardson , pick a name lol there are lots , for eagles you can scratch goyens off the list

It has been 12 days since the Town Hall when Sly said that they had their guy . Anybody else think ...."Their Guy" might have multiple offers and that they may be possibly pivoting to another guy ? After all there are 8 openings in an 18 Team League .

After all there are 8 openings in an 18 Team League . ya I have a feeling they are on plan B now is my guess , like you said there are so many openings right now and teams like Halifax and Quebec will be drawing more interest from people along with Gatineau and Blanville |

I don't know where Louis Robitaille is at in his thinking, but he was present at the @nhl draft in Nashville. At that time, he was still in discussion with Sylvain Couturier for the position of head coach of the @cbehockey. @olympiquesgat @lhjmq

"Relieved of his duties" for allegedly giving Senators Pre-Scouting info to another NHL team. Brent Wallace has a great episode on "Coming in Hot" podcast on the Troy Mann firing. Have a listen before passing judgement on the guy. As for a possible signing in Cape, Mann would be an outstanding candidate, but with 1year left on his Bellville deal at what would be 2-3X a Q coaches salary, I am not Mr. Irwin would pony up for what he would cost after next season. |

I would add that if those are in fact the reasons why he was let go I would not one bit be interested in him coaching for the Eagles. I am one of the most forgiving people but that lacks integrity and integrity is huge especially when coaching and building young players. My two cents for what it is worth. |
