Exactly he was a proven commodity but an asset is better than bothing at all but it certainly isn’t surprising on a strong team as a 19 year old his game would take off

Sheilds would be a nice 18yr old addition to the Isles.
Will be interesting if this rumor is true and what is all involves.
Saying that, I do like his game.
Great 16yr old season.....this season, with all the changes in CB, he has had a slow season.
With Hulton, I believe he will grow from his 16yr old season .

Shields can 100% turn it around in an Islanders uniform I'd think. Could be a very good add. Would also get lots of ice time for the second half.

Vs Shields Shortall Picks? this could make sense to be honest. Horth would be a bit of firepower they're looking for up front. Horth + Cibulka automatically improves their powerplay + scoring ability. |

Vs Shields Shortall Picks? aside from draft pedigree why would the Isles have to add bigtime? both players are playing their 2nd season of major junior hockey..... both players had fairly strong first seasons and have seemingly not progressed from that Romeo is a year older and much bigger...... seemingly would fit perfectly into Cape Bretons plans for this year and next better than a 17 year old who finds himself on the 4th line or the pressbox since when did buyers get a discount at Christmas? if this deal happens I can't see the Isles adding much more than a mid round pick if anything at all |

Heavy hitter, gets in faces, can score and pass. It just seems very strange to get rid of a player like that unless he was just a toxic presence on the team. |
