Coming from the biggest Horth salesman on planet earth... He's got more goals then the Prince Reynolds. And the last time I checked, goals win games. 8 in his last 19, you can preach about the 22 and he’s scored them no one denies that but I don’t think he’s scoring at a 40 goal pace for whoever acquires him. The goals in the past aren’t relevant when you’re acquiring a player for what they’re going to do moving forward. Reynolds has 20 goals so we’re really splitting hairs here. I’d rather have Reynolds because he plays down the middle of the ice and I think he’s better at creating his own offence. I think either of them are an upgrade on Trenholm but so are a lot of 20’s. |

I dont think we trade Reynolds unless he wants to go but I believe Mateiko will be a wildcat at the draft.

Ritchie loves Trenholm. Ill be shocked if they upgrade on him even though it's probably the only obvious move looking at roster composition.

Do you guys think you have a better shot this year or next year and what is a fair price for Mateiko now or at the draft.

You have to think the Cats will be active this deadline. They Could be looking at a Trenholm upgrade. Orr would look vey nice in a Cats jersey, cats will make some kind of upgrade. I can even see them showing interest in a goaltender this year Fleming would be a very good fit in Moncton as well. Moncton will likely be among the quietest teams this trade period. Next year is the go for it year and I don’t even expect that they empty the cupboards then. I think it’s much more likely that Moncton moves a guy like Mueller (if he’s not coming back next year) or Auger than it is for them to add someone. They’ve got Trenholm and Carrier playing on the 4th line at this point. |

Moncton is returning like 8 guys from their current top 9 next year, 4 of their top 6 defencemen and both goalies. Moncton is still a relatively young team this year. |
