Hulton grabs some size.....and skill....as they sign FA Spencer Caines. 18yr old Newfoundland native. FW 6'3" 205lbs Played last season with Valley in MHL winning the MHL Rookie of Year award. Newspaper article states he’s good buddy’s with Kearsey, knows Butler as well. We’ve had some good luck with Newfies as of late, hope Jim found a nice diamond in the rough here too |

4 20’s on that roster… Can only have 3 of Hughes, Michel, Bickle, Goriunov. I think this take is a bit harsh, but if he's really not coming back then Hulton did what had to be done. No one in the system has proven they can play in the Q. Ozols went back to Latvia, Boudreau/Flanagan/Hickey all in Jr. A last year. Yes Hickey is coming but you can't give him the reigns as a starter right out of the gate. Though this must also mean another 20yo isn't staying. More moves have to be coming. |
