Hopefully they will land an impact player with their selection. Is there another Dmitri Jaskin or Barbashev out there ?
Will they target a Defenseman or Forward ? I would think they are set in Goal unless there is a very good Goalie out there ? Steinman would get a good pick, early 2nd round for sure !

Ideally a forward and a D, one can be 19 if they get a good one.

Has there been official word that we will be making two selections?

Has there been official word that we will be making two selections? They traded one guy and released another, so safe assumption.

Not sure if it’s based on any inside info or he’s just spit balling, but Legace at L’Acadie Nouvelle thinks Moncton goes defence first and goalie as the second pick.
I thought goalie might be an option if they could convince Mueller to come back, but I guess maybe the goalie pool would just be deeper for a later pick?
Also threw out names like Matvei Shuravin and Gregor Biber as potential options for the first pick.

Think it’s a lot of spitballing, mentions one of the names to look out for at the 2nd pick as a goalie that the Habs have already announced themselves will be playing for the armada. I could see them going D and G but I don’t see them able to find a goalie better than what they have at the 2nd pick and would only be worth it if muller did decide to return.

A defenseman with the 1st pick makes a lot of sense.
If the 2nd pick is a goalie, I'm wondering if the Seadogs GM is in Taylor MacDougall's ear telling him which one to draft. He's then flipped to Saint John during training camp in a trade involving Eriks Mateiko.

The passes are now showing on the site and it confirms Moncton will use both picks.

If i understand correctly, I don't think you can flip a Euro pick until at least X-mas of the year he was drafted and it has to be within the same league in the CHL.
