Quite frankly, I don't care if it was Sidney Crosby, if he dosen't have the decency to call, email, text, send smoke signals to anyone on the team or management, then I wouldn't want him on my team.

Exactly. Whatever his reason is...that's not really the point. The point is that he hasn't let anyone on the team know why he hasn't showed up. And if for some reason he's unable to do that...someone should do that for him so there isn't all this speculation. As far as I'm concerned, he has brought the rumours and speculation on himself by not contacting anyone.

Something is fishy here aside from no contact supposedly with Bartos by your team in Bathurst. You and the team do realize Bartos has an agent right? Former NHL'er Petr Svboda? I'd think if they couldn't reach Bartos directly they could surely reach his agent?

And if they have been trying to reach the agent and Svboda isn't returning calls or messages, then it's a safe bet there is no way in hell Bartos is coming back to Bathurst. Otherwise the agent would return the calls with demands of what it will take to get Bartos back.

All what was heard from his agent was that Bartos was very disappointed in not have been drafted by an NHL team earlier this summer.

None of you even know if we've been given the whole "accurate" story yet...There may be more to it that nobody is letting out... Yet you all seem to think you know what's going on for sure...

What you've heard and what the actual story is behind his disappearance could very well be different

He's asking them not to say anything yet management goes to the media and tells them that he and several others including other players have tried to contact Bartos several different ways and have not heard anything. Trust me they wouldn't go to the media if he asked them to keep it on the down low.

The one thing I know to be true is what the Titan's GM and players have attempted and the fact that he hasn't even answered guys he's supposed to go to war with speaks volumes IMO only of course ;D

I can't believe you are actually that stupid. Its not like the tam called a press conference, or sent out a press release saying Bartos was missing.

Nope, not at all. Of course it wasn't hard to see he wasn't there so naturally a journalist is then going to ask where he is. And thankfully, the Titan don't shy away from answering questions. Instead of avoiding the issue they give a straight answer and then you decide that you need to read all kinds of stuff into it.

There is a big difference between answering a question and "going to the media."

This isn't Moncton - the media here doesn't just report on what the team tells them too.
