Svoboda played last night and scored 2 beautiful one-timer goals.

In all these events, don't you think that Martin could at least make a phone call to the Titan? I know that the Titan did not speak to him in 3 weeks. Another thing I know is that Bartos found excuses at last camp and at Christmas to justify being late, but this time around he is more than late........... I heard that the Titan have been in touch with him recently. Tthis whole discussion might be a bit premature and it's seems to be based on a whole lot of assumptions. I heard that they TRIED to get in touch with him and could not speak to him according to LGM Monday morning. I also heard from a different source this morning that they did not have more news than Monday.... I guess that you got other sources. If you think about it, there are a whole bunch of Q kids who would love to be in Bartos' shoes playing alongside Perreault and yet this does not seem to please him.....

I really don't understand why you feel the need to tar or discredit and feather a player the second they leave the Titan like you are doing with Bartos and have done with players like Roy, Carle, Vinneau, Morneau, etc (although some may have deserved it). What is wrong with a Euro deciding to move home and play pro hockey for real money rather than continue chasing a distant dream on a foreign continent for peanuts? IF Bartos isn't back its not because he doesn't appreciate the opportunity to play with Perreault it is because the purpose of him moving here was to make the NHL and he has accepted that won't happen.

Getting Picrad-Hooper doesn't solve the problem ... it just creates another. You'd have to dump Clendenning or Svoboda to add Picard-Hooper and so you are just moving the problem to another position rather than solving it. However, Clendenning's on-ice contribution (offense and defense) is easier to replace than Bartos' ... but not the leadership aspect Clendnning brings. I would expect that Labrie is untouchable being your #1 Dman.

No, its because he is an idiot for not wanting to play with Perreault, and he wasnt really that valuable anyway as a handful of rookies can step in and produce what he was projected to.

I doubt very much that Beauregard had accepted last season that he would not make the NHL and playing alongside Perreault did exactly give a 2nd jump to his pro chances. Bartos at 19 enjoyed the same opportunity and it looks like he will not jump on it but rather let it pass by his way side......I guess that it is his prerogative but I know that Svoboda jumped on his chance.... As far as tarring Roy and Morneau, I would like you to point out where I did this because I always have been quite positive about these players. Carle and Vienneau is another story and I will not change one iota from my stance on the Carle trade nor the Vienneau decision to ask to be traded and jump ship..... You should know that a lot of Titan fans do feel that way.

You should know that a lot of Titan fans do feel that way. He has a very good point, when a player joins the Titans you see him as 50% better instantly...then if he asks to be traded and is let go you suddenly have no use for him and "downgrade" his contributions to the team. You have done it more for some than others but you do it more often than not.

Billy I have read you multiple times playing that game.
And one does not talk about what was written about Trukhno and Gragani on the Rocketalk.
But, if Bartos was playing at 100% all the time, and reporting in Bathurst at his due time, I surely would not speak like that about him. We are talking here about a player who was late at last training camp, late at the Christmas break return and is now late again..... The other two times he reported but this time around he is later than usual and has not reported yet.

Maybe he just doesn't like the idea of "training camp"

Truhkno on the other hand was loved until he left ... then they crapped on him. Most fans continue to follow their former players and wish them well with their new team ... but you on the other hand usually crap on the player and say things that contradict everything you ever said about him when he was a Titan. Replacing Bartos is easy though ... just invite Martikaenan back.

Hmm...I don't think I'd be releasing Bartos or putting him on waivers for another team to "convince to show up." We should just go with 1 Euro until he decides to show up or not.

I never pretended to speak his mind, but his actions speak his mind IMPO.

Bartos have never ever said that he was not pleased to play alongside Perreault that I can recall. If you can show me where he said that, I'll stand corrected.
