Aww thanks Make I don't care which of the three defensemen you listed aren't in the lineup as long as Baca is in there. Heck, he'd probably be a better fighter then Herr.

Not sure who is starting in goal tonight and not sure who is not dressing as a forward , but Boyle and Bacca will sit tonight and Gomes gets inserted into the line-up. I always like these games with teams from the Quebec division...never really know what to expect ....... Baca is not in the lineup again tonight... I really liked this guy and his style of play, he was solid in his own end and big (which we lack). He had a mean streak about him and was fun to watch. Get him into the lineup!! Word at the rink is he needs to learn english so he understands the plays in practise, he is taking an intensive course.

If there was no one else on the team who could communicate with him, I might buy that - but Belak could translate for him. I find it hard to believe that in a month since Aug 18, they couldn't communicate sufficiently for him to play as a 6th defenceman.......

David Bouchard speed bagged Kalen Herr............................have not watched much since. You must have missed the part where Herr was dominating the fight ... almost had Bouchard down and out ... but Bouchard came back with a strong finish to take the decision.

If the ice was not so lousy, I think that one would have been a blowout, the Cats were much quicker on loose pucks and faster overall. Gougeon got lucky on 3-4 great chances missed in the 1st.

Does anyone know what the ref meant when he called morehouse at the end of the third period on an "insighting" call. I have been watching hochey for the last 40 yrs and never heard that called.

The heat also took the fight out of the Volts .... they weren't interested in competing at the level that Moncton was forcing them to.

It does get called occasionally ... but I think it was brought in last year. And it was the correct call. Morehouse drew a roughing call along the boards ... and for the previous 3 or 4 shifts he was yapping at Volts players all the way to the bench and after every whistle ... as Morehouse often does. On this roughing call to the Volts ... instead of skating away Morehouse stuck his nose in and continued to yap and get right in the face of Volts players. He was trying to draw more penalties by "inciting" the other team into it. The Ref finally had enough of him and gave him the misconduct for inciting ... which is exactly what Morehouse was doing.

Quite a lot of the minor leagues have a 10-min misconduct in place for that or similar wording for a few years now.

I didn't get to the game, but watched it on Telus. Is there anyway to increase the screen size? With media player you can enlarge the webcast to the full size of your screen, but with this I could not find a way to do that?

so the penaltie that moorehouse got would of been the same penalty that Bezak would of got in bathurst if the ref would of giving it to him for making push ups after his goal ?
