He has fine tools, but he doesn't know how to use them well enough for the first line. At least I haven't seen it so far. His decision making is slow and he hangs onto the puck too much.
Perhaps he's just not used to playing the off wing. It's a specialty that takes practice and an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses. I've seen many players who can only see the direction they shoot and are useless on the wrong side.

I have to agree with dogbert about Howes. Dido and Liske is missing Sparling. Howes is a good player, but he stick handles to much. The top line needs someone who goes into the corners and fetches out the puck for them. Another player who hasn't really played up to his abilities is Picard-Hooper. I don't know if it's who he is playing with, but once Sparling comes back, I think the second line should look like Howes-Anthony-Picard. Drop Leduc back to center on the third line, along with Gauthier and Stoddard on the wings. You have yourself a decent checking line. Also what's up with Tesink's grandfather goming after "SuperDog" during the first intermission? I guess he very protective of his grandson!!!

Give it a month people you will love Howe's!!! As for Hoooooooooooooooooooper, he is fine. These guys don't come in and score 50 goals on a team that never had offense!!! They spark it and help get it going like they have. Howe's could have had 3 yesterday just bad breaks...HE ROCKS!!! Thats why we are winning DEPTH!!!!

LOL!!!!!!!!! Nice try rinkrat but before they started punching each other while getting ready to scrap, Gallant grabbed his chinstrap and motioned like unsnapping it, inviting Legros to do the same so they could knock off each other's helmets. Legros declined the offer.

Gallant seems to carry inferior fighters, and really go after guys that are bigger or who upset him.

I love this, some of you people are so fucking SPECIAL!!! and I do mean this in the short yellow bus kind of way. No matter who wins a fight, we win or play hard,,,, something is wrong UNFUCKINGBELEIVABLE!!!! As for the double snap rinkrat maybe that was your sis to you in the tub thats why you live your life in hiding!!!!
