I'm saying that I think he makes inferior fighters look better than they are on purpose. More entertainment value if it looks like it was a close fight, even though Gallant could probably kill most of the fighters in the league.

He lets guys who shouldn't even be able to get a punch in, get some good shots in to make it look like it was a close fight, then takes a slight advantage at the end, instead of steamrolling guys and causing injuries leading to no one wanting to fight him. Some of those draws he had last year were against people who should have been able to drop in a hurry.

It's the toe to toe style he fights, Gallant takes a punch to give a punch, Gallant doesn;t mind getting hit so he doesn;t defend himself or tie other guys up like your typical enforcer these days. You fight to win and you give it your all in every fight.

He's never been good on his feet, though he's come a long way in the last two years. I'm actually starting to think he looks like a hockey player out there. I remember the first few times he tried to go guys would throw him down before he could land anything.

Give it a month people you will love Howe's!!! As for Hoooooooooooooooooooper, he is fine. These guys don't come in and score 50 goals on a team that never had offense!!! They spark it and help get it going like they have. Howe's could have had 3 yesterday just bad breaks...HE ROCKS!!! Thats why we are winning DEPTH!!!! It is a bit much to expect anything right out of the gate. I'm not saying I don't like him, he just doesn't fit on a first line right wing with guys he doesn't know. We need to keep things in perspective too. This is only game #10. It's games 50 to 100 that we need to see chemistry at work

Unless we are going to the Memorial Cup, I don't think we will need chemistry for game 100

LOL!!!!!!!!! Nice try rinkrat but before they started punching each other while getting ready to scrap, Gallant grabbed his chinstrap and motioned like unsnapping it, inviting Legros to do the same so they could knock off each other's helmets. Legros declined the offer. Nice first post though! ;D I went back and watched the video again and it looks like Gallant was tying a double square knot in his chin strap. His shield was knocked off but not his bucket.

Wink people. See the wink I've yet to make a playoff prediction. My 80+ then 89 point prognostications don't hint at any lofty playoff expectations. There's no way we get by Halifax let alone the top Telus teams.
