Just from watching the past couple games live and through webcast.. I wanted to mention I think Morgan Ellis will develop into a real stud at this level. Looks far more poised than a 17yo out there. Hard to believe he went in the 3rd round.
Also, I really like Brad Cuzner.. Brings it every shift, a real energy guy, and it could just be me, but I even see a little offensive potential in him. He should be a good player in this league.
It's a shame really you guys decided to load up this year. You could have had a really nice base to build from in 2012. (Not that you cant come back to beat us, just that it will be a tough road even after us). Seems like an opportunity missed, not that you guys need to be told that.

Effort was there.
Chemistry was not and never has been.
Tickets should of read regular season home game 35. Crowd made it a good atmosphere, but what ever happened to dimming the lights during player intro's? Especially for the first playoff game.
I know the shot totals were high, but it was frustrating as hell watching Moncton win most battles along the boards and constantly limit our offensive chances to 1 shot with no 2nd chances. Meanwhile we had an adventure while our top 4 wore down and basically killed any transition we had.
It'd be amazing to see what this team could of done with something as simple as a set group of lines. That's no excuse for the play of someone like Lagace, but the constant shuffling with no evident plan in place hopefully all comes to an end tomorrow night. We might send this one back to Moncton, but this series won't see a 6th game.

He's a little shit disturber who you have to have on your team. He's constantly jabbing and poking at someone and he's hard as hell to play against. No excuses for this performance. If we go down in 4, this might even top 04....at least we got a win that playoffs.....and there's no James Sheppard coming this year.

Maybe now Mario Durocher will finally realize what every hockey fan in the Maritimes knew months ago.
What a waste. He could have EASILY set this franchise up for the next 2-3 seasons by selling at the deadline. Instead, he put his head in the sand, loaded up, and will now set the team back 3-4 years.
I genuinely feel bad for Eagles fans.

Cuzner reminds me of a young Chris Morehouse ;D

you guys deserved better last night... I do still think you will avoid the sweep and go out on Moncton's ice in game 5
but where is Luke Adam? I thought he was supposedly the best player in the Q.. does he even have a point yet?

Ellis is a future superstar Exagerate much? no i dont, i believe that he wont be in the league as a 20. If he is in this league I would predict he will be a future superstar, esp if he progresses beyond his 17 year old skills.

Anyone know the numbers for how many teams have come back from 3 games down to take a series? I'm on the Q site and no luck.

Cape Breton done it against Chicoutimi in 2000 or 2001.

I agree he has some nice upside, but nowhere near a superstar. Lots of guys are gone by 20 and they are not superstars(95% of them aren't). As I said, huge exageration.

Cape Breton done it against Chicoutimi in 2000 or 2001. Decent. I'm torn about tonight. I don't want them to lose it on home ice, but, at the same time, I don't want them to win it and give me false hope that they'll maybe salvage the series or at least take it to game 7.
