Also....whoever wants to answer this...
Do u think Legace is going to be around when our second pick comes up, or do we need to move into the first round with another pick? Thanks.

Trade down and take Hudon or Gamelin... I know the rankings have Gamelin at #11 and Hudon at #13 now Matteau appears to be heading south of the border but even still don't you see Hudon & Gamelin both going by the 10th pick? Not suggesting you wouldn't be trading down and staying in the top 10 I'm just curious what your thoughts are ... I was thinking the Sags might take both of those players at #3 and #6. Maybe they even end up with Luca Ciampini and Gamelin although I think BC is going to draft Ciampini. I don't see Hache, Fraser, or Turnbull going before Gamelin & Hudon personally. From what ive heard Matteau would consider coming to the QMJHL..he hasnt ruled it out...so I have a feeling someone will take the kid... I would feel VERY unsafe trading down to #10 expecting either Gamelin or Hudon to be there...I think they are both gone by that pick. If Hache, Fraser or Turnbull go before Hudon and Gamelin there is something wrong...lol

Now let me get this straight, a group of qualified hockey people headed up by Patrick Charbonneau claimed to have watched some 3000 games of draftable players with Patrick having watched over 300 games alone and they have Ciampini as the second overall pick and now the posters who were saying you take the best player available PERIOD are now speaking with forked tongue you don't take the second best player, whats going on here, is there a double standard in play, I do see the Moose following what ALL the posters want (ie) taking the second best player available Luca Ciampini with their 2nd overall pick PERIOD. One has to remember this group is not operating by remote control, there assessment for the most part is actually watching the games and their input has to be valued over an individual who has a personal opinion and I'm very aware that nothing is perfect. It depends who you think is the BPA... CSR's assesments are just that....THEIR OPINIONS. Its fine if you want to go with their opinions, but dont call out others because they have varrying opinions. Ciampini will NOT have a better QMJHL career than either Gamelin or Hudon...that is why he isnt the BPA at #2 (in my opinion). CSR's obviously differs, so be it.

Trade down and take Hudon or Gamelin... Hey La la...... I said we keep our second pick and we are going to draft someone 2nd overall.....who do u take. You really don't want Campiani do u. lol Gamelin without hesitation. I honestly dont mind Ciampini...sharrow seems to think I have a hate on for him...but Id still take Ciampini in the top 5..just not before Gamelin.

He should for sure be there at #19...but I wouldnt take him that high...id wait for one of the other 2nd rd picks...and if you really wanna gamble, wait for #37

Hey Lala... In your opinion, if Matheson goes first to BaC, and we keep our 2nd overall pick.....who do you take? Trade down and take Hudon or Gamelin... What separates these two? Both small, skilled players. Is Hudon more of goal scorer and Gamelin more of the set-up guy?

Yeah pretty much and Gamelin is a little bit more gritty and a better skater. Hudon will also be a high % shootout player...he will score at will, but Gamelin is better in all 3 zones, more of a headsy type of player and a better skater.

The Roy to Bathurst trade does now appear iffy and may not get done which rekindles the Corbeil to Bathurst for their 5th overall pick plus we send them our 3rd round 2011, this would enable us to get Ciampini and Gamelin plus Legrace with our 19th pick and we are off and running.

I think it is reasonable to accept the opinions of those who actually watch the players in action night in and night out over opinions that are gathered from 1000 kms away and get their info second and third hand, also a consenous from a group would seem to be more creditable than from an individual. Isn't that why this draft is held with this format a in all leagues including the NHL. Your argument that an individual opinion is as strong as a qualified groups opinion are equal goes against the grain and really sounds silly. Lets do away with the CSR and allow each teams scouting system determine the rankings, ( sounds silly do you think)

If Turnbull was still there it would be tempting to pick him with our 19th pick and hopefully get Legace with pick #25. It getting closer and the possibilities are exciting, can't you feel it.

They do their own scouting for a reason and some folks from these boards may watch alot of games and they may also know people that watch them all the time ... Just a thought. Scouts most times like to sit by themselves ... why do you think that is?

Corbeil to Bathurst eh. First time I've heard that one. If that's what's potentially be on the table for Corbeil, where do we sign!! I'm more then willing to part with a 3rd next year of that's what it takes to get that deal done. I find it hard to believe we could fetch that much for Corbeil, but if it's out there, go for it.

Like I said...the CSR has been wrong plenty of times...so have I... You can choose to go with CSR's opinon and thats fine, but dont discredit mine in the process unless of course you yourself have actually gone out and watched these players.

Look guys, league scouting reports probably account for about 80% to 90% of how teams draft their players when and where and that because it has proven over time to work, realizing that nothing is fool proof. I rest my case.
