According to Willy Palov's Twitter, your complete roster is set to go as of this morning.. He mentions the only surprises to make it were Alex Carrier, Nate Engert, and J-K Grenier. Final cuts were Jake Guindon, Alex Powell, Brandon Boutilier, Chris Riguse, Blake Millman, William Cochrane and Dylan McQuaid. Just checked it and nothing is there. I also don't use twitter, so, I may be messing it up. Woaaaah, Guindon. What do we do now?! Same thing we were doing before he got here....using someone elses extra 20 on the cheap

I'm sorry to see Riguse cut - I liked him, also thought he might have fit in well on the fourth line. Wouldn't surprise me if he's called up at some point should the situation arise.
Millman did so much to help his cause on Friday with the two impressive showings in fights, but then seemed kind of uninvolved in Sunday's game. Hopefully he doesn't come back to haunt us if picked up by another team.
Most people I talked to seemed to like Powell, a little surprised he was cut, but I guess someone had to go. How do people think Powell stacked up against guys like Herrett and Larade? Hopefully the fact they played a handful of games each last year didn't weigh too heavily in their being picked over Powell.
The biggest news among these cuts is of course Guindon, since he was seemingly given the inside track on the third 20-year-old spot. The guy had skill and a beauty game-winning goal yesterday, but I have to kind of agree with others who say his hockey sense seemed a bit questionable and he was sort of all over the place positioning-wise. You can't have an overage player with suspect hockey sense. Back to the drawing board on the third 20 I guess.
Now left are 15 forwards, 8 D, and 2 goalies - pretty much looks like opening night numbers. No surprise Plouffe and Jodoin are there, they might have been the two most impressive rookies in camp. Congrats to the Carriers - you got the sense they were part of the team's future, especially 16-year-old William. I still haven't noticed this year's top picks Kyle Farrell or Loic Leduc that much this camp, but it appears they've made the roster as project players at the very least. Both need to add quite a bit of size, but it can be remarkable how much a player fills out over the course of his junior career - look at Nic Chouinard and Chris Culligan. And Jean-Kristoff Grenier was a nice camp surprise - La La is right, he told us to expect good things from him months ago. On the blueline it looks like Nate Engert has made it - joining assistant coach Kevin Higo as the second new piece of Western influence on this year's team.
Verroneau and Lacerte the final goalie tandem - which all fans knew from the start it would be.

Also I found the Black and White game and last nights game I found Larade REALLY didnt fit in which is scarey giving the situation he was on last year and the chance he had even though it was a little one, I knew last year against Mon in game 4 when he took those 2 stupid minors back to back, I knew that was it for him and really hope things work out I dont know what you think deer but he just didnt fit and I find him playing alongside Woodworth isnt worth edging his development,I see a
Ellis Fournier Woodworth Herrit Leduc Euro
Think this pretty much sums up are D Core

Can anyone remember back in March when Mario confidently talked about the outlook for this year's team?
Was Riguse one of the building blocks? I have difficulty remembering because I hadn't seen several of them dressed or actually on the ice that often!

Riguse was considered a guy that could make the team if he added some weight over the summer and that didn't really happen as he came in at 140 lbs and that wasn't really going to cut with when you consider the way the Carrier's and Grenier played in camp.

I liked Riguse I thought he had 4th line potential I really think Berg and Macintosh are on the outs, (Sad to say) Same as Parker, It will be a rough final cut Bergeron is the only one I would cut of the three mentioned. Parker is only 17 and is still developing, you guys are so quick to throw kids away after a ex game or a few intersquad games.

I wasn't agreeing as in "I hope it happens", I just think its what could potentially happen.

Christopher, I'm not as concerned about Kyle Farrell's size as you are because this young boy is as dedicated as anyone could be and is very strong, despite his size.
I'd be willing to bet that he scored very high in terms of fitness especially and even in the strength category during the Eagles' training camp!

Also I don't know if anyone realized yesterday but the kid barley got hit. He was in and out of the corners and in the high traffic areas but managed to slip right through everyone. He also has great hockey sense, he reads the ice really well. I was impressed by him. I also don't understand why people are after Mario for making quick cuts. The only person he cut that I thought still should be here is Powell. Everyone else were out played by the players left in camp. I can't wait to see more or Grenier, Jodion , Plouffe and the Carrier's they actually could be building blocks if they keep developing.

I wasnt at camp but its hard to imagine Herrett and/or Larade sticking ahead of Powell. Also I mentioned earlier how you guys have assembled a pretty underrated group of 16, 17 and 18 year old forwards.
