Surprised by the lack or responses thus far.
I've never really had 1 absolute favourite movie, just a bunch that I really like. I'll see if I can come up with 10 in no particular order.
Original Star Wars and Indiana Jones trilogies - That's a pretty lazy way to come up with 60% of my list but it's pretty accurate.
Braveheart
Unforgiven
My Cousin Vinnie
Saw - I loved the first one. I found the rest to be anywhere from mildly amusing to pretty good.

Favorite movie of all time: The Blues Brothers. I can still watch that movie any time of the day
Good second: Forrest Gump. Not a big fan of Tom Hanks but he puts a great character down in this one and everytime I watch it I see something new

I saw Shooter and 42, both of which I enjoyed however. I realize I'm missing out on a bunch of classics probably but that's my loss. I saw Wolf on Wall Street on Friday and while it was decent, it wasn't amazing like some people were saying.

The Town was good - hate Ben Affleck but it was still a good flick. My all time top 10... really hard to come up with but I'll give it a shot. No particular order: Braveheart Mission Impossible Happy Gilmore Good Will Hunting Despicable Me Lord of the Rings (trilogy- will count as one long ass movie) Ocean's Eleven Superman II Major League The Usual Suspects There are more, and maybe even ones that should be on this list that I couldn't think of, but these ones are definitely among my favorites. Favourites all time that I can watch over and over ... Braveheart Saving Private Ryan Gran Torino GoodFellas Mystic River (Sean Penn is so good in that) Rocky (I've watched it too many times now) Cold Mountain I feel the same about Rocky IV. I know it doesn't compare to the original Rocky but it was my favorite, and had hands down the best soundtrack ever lol.

I don`t watch nearly the same amount of movies I used to, where I would have seen pretty much anything new/good. And when I do go see a movie, or rent/download/netflix one, I always feel like its just another version of a movie I have seen before - especially when it comes to action movies.
I love movies that have a unique or great story line, over action/blockbuster movies. Inception might have been the last movie like that I saw. I am sure there are more good ones since then, I just haven`t seen them. Can`t get into the wave of superhero/comic movies AT ALL. I love seeing a trailer for a new story driven movie that looks great and seeing it before I hear anything about it to ruin it for me lol. Shawshank was a movie that I think I saw 1-2 ads for it prior to release and thought "I`m in the mood for a good prison drama like that"... went and saw it opening weekend without really knowing a thing about it, and absolutely loved it. No Country for Old Men is another more recent movie I hardly knew anything about and I loved it. Other favorites from the past are True Romance, Memento, Usual Suspects, etc. I can still enjoy the big movies like Braveheart, Lord of the Rings etc,... and the goofy comedies like Anchorman (can`t believe I haven`t gotten to see part 2 yet), dumb and dumber etc. But my favorites are character driven, unique storyline type movies.

I liked Inception- was very confusing and made you pay attention.
Love movies with conspiracy, betrayal, heists, etc. Love watching a well developed plan play out.
Speaking of this, cant believe I forgot to put The Game on my list. Could watch that over and over... loved how it kept you guessing right until the final scene.

Yeah and the Game is another favorite of mine. All those types of movies with a clever story mixed with a bit of action are great. I said I liked Inception - but it was right on that edge of confusing and mind numbing confusing lol. I hate when movies try and be too confusing and misleading so that when the credits roll you are staring blankly wondering what part of what you just watched was true. I understood Inception when it was all said and done so it didn`t cross that line for me.

Love movies and I still collect them rather than download. Too many to list but since I am in the middle of upgrading my home theatre, had to fire up the new receiver and watched the The Hurt Locker again. Great movie.

The original Star Wars trilogy and the Indiana Jones movies are my guilty pleasure favorites. I can pretty much recite the Star Wars movies as they play.
Two other movies that rank near the top for me: American History X I don't like a lot of Ed Norton movies, but he was awesome in this.
Black Hawk Down
Blood Diamond was very good too.
I am looking forward to seeing Lone Survivor.
