You would think that with the outdoor nature and habitat of the moose their fans skin would be much much thicker....my point is that there is reality and Moose reality....it's like being caught in the matrix. Sniff sniff, yup I can definitely smell the fear now... You must be pretty young. I don't think anybody with any level of maturity would talk like you. You are really wasting my time and I am done responding to you. You are so funny...that is hilarious...remember the elation when the moose were up 1-0? Remember. The optimism and exuberance when they went up 2-0? Remember when the Cats won game 3 and you steadied yourself and still felt positive the Moose would win game 4? Now the series is tied 2-2 and all you feel is fear gripping your guts....weird stuff. I love when posters dismiss you...lol...like it impacts my life in anyway. Swollen head much?

Isn't the title of this discussion 2015-2016 Mooseheads? Why are Moncton fans discussing the series?
For the record this "homer" as I was so lovingly nicknamed, doesn't think Moosehead fans are scared or full of fear, they are just passionate about a team and a city that they are proud of. Spewing shit on boards and degrading fans instead of talking about the game simply demonstrates the kind of fans some teams have.

I saw him play that physical style last year and part of this year ... but he has become more of a finesse player than a physical forward now. He still has great strength to withstand physical play, but I don't see him dishing out heavy hits now ... when I did see that earlier in his Q career. He does still hit ... should have been suspended for that hit on Malatesta in game 3 (based On Johnson getting suspended for his infraction) ... but not nearly as much as he use to hit. His quick release makes him so dangerous. His hit was barely a minor penalty, a half-hearted takeout of Malatesta who turned along the boards at the last second. Johnson's play was on an entirely different level. You should change your name to "Mctnfan09" with all this nonsense you are spewing these days. Johnson's "hit" was his hand on Ehler's hip and gave him a shove AS EHLERS TURNED TO GO BACK THE OTHER WAY. Ehlers went into the boards alone without Johnson piling in behind him. Meier's hit was a full force crunch of Malatesta, face first into the boards. Malatesta may have turned to avoid the hit or to get out of there with the puck ... but he still got drilled directly from behind, and Meier piled in after him to add force to the collision. If one of these should have been "barely a minor" it was the hit on Ehlers. But he pretended to be hurt ... got escorted off the ice by a lovely lady like he was going to the Prom ... and was back on the ice 3:00 later to participate in the PP, and log about 40 mins of ice time on the night. The Johnson penalty occurred at 7:15, and then Burke took a second penalty at 8:30, and Ehlers was on the ice for the last minute of the 5 on 3, which would have ended at 10:30 ... so he was off the ice for 3:00 (on the score clock) or less. Malatesta got right up after a few shakes of his head ... because he couldn't lay there while the play was still going on. That doesn't mean he wasn't hurt ... that means he got up to play even though he was hurting. So Johnson gets 4:00 and a 2 game suspension ... because Ehlers pretended ... while Meier gets 2:00 only because Malatesta chose to get back into the play. The Meier hit was actually worse because his weight added to the force of the collision ... while Johnson's did not because Ehlers went into the boards alone. The Bower hit on Hunter (resulting in injury) was worse than the Johnson hit on Ehlers ... and about equal to the Meier hit on Malatesta ... maybe a slightly higher speed, but the exact same circumstances ... on the forecheck. Yet the weakest incident brings a 2 game suspension. Why ? Because Ehlers is an actor. You are so full of shit it is embarassing. We have video of the Ehler's hit ... is there a video of the Malaesta hit ?

I made a comment on Meier, discussing how he has changed to more of a finesse player ... but making sure to say he is still a physical player but not as much as he was last year and early this year. CJD took offense to my comment and derailed the discussion in this thread. The silly discussion between Mooseinfo and APC is all on them though ... tough to blame just "Moncton fans" for any of it. But you do realize that there is no membership card required to post on the Moose board. Once you are a member of this entire board community you are free to post on any board and any discussion you choose, as long as you play by the rules.

To answer that would further take this thread off topic. Are you too fucking stupid to comprehend that? And for the record I was careful about my wording to make sure I didn't attack you, but your post. Any attacks towards you were in the form of a question. I think you provided me with a pretty solid answer with your response though.

It's a dangerous play, they want it eliminated from the game. If you want to keep beating this horse to death the evidence in hockey at all levels is against you.

We have video of the Ehler's hit ... is there a video of the Malaesta hit ? LOL you have lost touch with reality. If Meier hit him "full force crunch" they'd still be smoothing Maletesta's facial indents out of the glass. I noticed last game a handful of plays very similar, where guys got crunched up along the boards, often being forced face first in, including Mooseheads who just got back up and kept going. Those kind of collisions happen all the time along the boards, one guy tries to move along the boards and the guy takes him into the boards, often from behind as the guy is usually facing the glass. It was a 2 minute penalty as it usually is, but it wasn't malicious or with any dangerous speed. Johnson followed Ehlers up the ice, and right as he gets to him in the corner, he shoves him. That is ALWAYS a very dangerous play and often results in suspensions. I GUARANTEE you that if that was Garland or Barb or anyone, they would have lied there for a couple minutes after that. There is a thread on hockeyfuture that was pretty unanimous that it was a brutal play by Johnson. That play can result in dislocated shoulders and broken legs. I think you and HoldMyDeke are the only homers arguing it was nothing but a harmless play with embellishment by Ehlers. Ask any fan or coach what play they would rather their star player be a victim of, and I bet none of them choose the "being shoved from behind as you skate towards the boards". Yet you argue Meier's play was worse. Just ridiculous. Your officiating whining this series is unwarranted as the games have been mostly clean/even in that regard with good and soft calls on both teams. When you get called on your BS (like all the times the reffing killed Moncton's momentum with 2-3 calls on them) you just alter your argument or ignore the reply altogether.

I have no problem with Johnson getting suspended if Ehlers is injured on the play ... but that didn't happen. The Refs called the 4:00 because they thought he was injured ... he acted it up ... but the Q knew he wasn't injured when they assessed their suspension. You defend the Ehelrs incident but make no comment on the other two hits that were worse ... and also something they are trying to take out of the game. The hit on Hunter actually resulted in injury.
