Rumble coach of the year my ass. First period was great 4 line physical hockey game. Came out in second leading and a power play. Well then the game plan seemed to change. Back to a 2.5 line hockey game. With 2 min shifts from the 1 line. Then came the line switching and tinkering of lines. To me I can't comprehend why change from 1st period with a recipe that was working. Hope Rumble digs his coaching head out of his ass for games in Quebec. Or the wildcats can pretty much stay home and not waste a trip to Quebec

First 10 minutes of the 2nd he played about 8 of it.

I will never understand how a coach would let any player stay on the ice for that long..Is he running the show or is it Garland? Makes no sense at all.

Rampart has Garland's number and play him quite effectively regardless if he plays a 3 min or a 45 sec shift makes no difference. I can't understand why Rumble has him on such long shifts eating up period minutes, then again I am no coach so guess Rumble sees the value. I have this feeling Sat's game was the last of the season here, I can't see a miracle Halifax type come back.
I give Dubeau A+ effort in this series...........

Then early in the first when Moncton had a 2-1 lead the panic button hits and complete line switching for all four lines for the entire remainder of game. And to make matters worse (in which I would have bet my life savings on) Garland and barbs were sent back to playing beyond stupid long shifts, then thrown back out there again after 1 minute rest. At one point Mckewen was caught on 2 min plus shift sucking wind and then penalty call made and remained on the ice for the full 2min pp . No blame to Mckewen. What does it take for coach Rumble to see that 2 or 3 players can not compete against this club!! Watching Rumble behind bench with his eyes darting from player to player is becoming a game for us. Eeny meeny miny... Who's next!! The only thing I would actually bet on is a guaranteed thing. If he keeps up with this line switching and the 1st line playing 8 to 9 minutes a period, I'll bet the house with the life savings on no more hockey in Moncton this season.

You even said it better that I could mullycat. To add if I may, it appears Rumble looses confidence in certain line combinations and/or players early in a game if score is tight or momentum shift to the other side because of a quick goal due some breakdown. I sit over by penalty/time keeper box and noticed Burke skate over after a line change with a bewildered look, even one time shaking his head, he has been around the league for some time

Yeah it's all Rumble's fault!!
Cats played pretty well and the game really could have went either way. Quebec just has more weapons up front and the ability to strike quickly. That was the difference.
Pretty blatant trip on Talbot-Tassi that led to the third Remparts goal. Incredibly frustrating when an obvious missed call like that leads to a goal.

From people around the team, word is Garland is running the show...to a certain extent.

There were missed calls on both sides, Remparts only had oNE PP in a game that was very chippy. The PP given on the Tkachev play was a terrible call, that's not a PP in a regular season game let alone with under 10 minutes left in a 3-3 playoff game.

Referencing calls by the officials....... I view it as a zero-sum game. Nuff said!!!

I haven't had a problem with the way both games were reffed. Some missed stuff on each side ... some stuff let go. Nothing like the garbage job they did in the Halifax series ... with the exception of Game 7.

I don't think you can blame Rumble. It was quit obvious that Quebec would not have a extreme difficulty with Moncton. Halifax would have probably disposed of Moncton in 4-6 games f they were not so beat up and injured. Moncton has has a successful play-offs regardless. Not based on their end of year standing just based on the talent they have faced.
