Have to cheer on Titan vs Remparts, give hope better than a 7th overall pick.

Quebec is making this interesting. I was hoping for a 5th at best but that doesn't look good now. Need Charlottetown and Chicoutimi to keep winning. Not sure if there is enough time or games for Drummondville, Bathurst and even Sherbrooke to win and move up. Maybe a solid player will fall to the Quebec spot at 7 or 8. Wishful thinking.

Looks like Charlottetown is going to lose against the Remparts tonight as well like Bathurst last night. If the Mooseheads are going to get another top 5 pick they'll have to trade up and that could be expensive.

Charlottetown comes back in the 3rd and defeats the Remparts. Chicoutimi won as well and passed Quebec. Good results for the Mooseheads.

The pick is back to where it was about 3 weeks ago except running out of games. Teams behind Quebec have to play at least 500(they havent) and hope Quebec lose all their games. Quebec is getting good goaltending and even play BC 1 more time.
Titan have a couple games in hand but thats only 1 spot that moves Quebec, 7 to 6. Halifax has Titan 2nd round so its making that pick less valuable at same time. Need a Quebec collapse but they seemed to have turned it around a bit lately.

One more Moose loss puts us out of our misery. It's been kind of a nothing season, or at least the last two months. Everyone's looking forward to the two drafts I assume. Must be hard for the kids to get blown out every 2nd game. But hopefully they'll learn from this experience, and come out hungry next season. We've been fortunate to have some good teams to watch the last few seasons. We may take our lumps next year as well. Just gotta hope we rebuild the right way and find the right combination of players to make another run in a couple years time.

I went to Cole Harbour place to catch the playoff game tonight instead of listening to the moose get trashed on the Radio. McIsaac's passing is a league above everyone else, but he's got some concerning flaws to his game as well. It's the second round of the playoffs and he's certainly calm and collected on the ice, but almost to the point where it looks like he's uninterested. He got hit in the second period and had to go to the room for a few minutes, he came back pissed off and started dominating. He needs to get a bit faster, and make some better decisions when playing a forward 1 on 1. He tends to get overaggressive, and not maintain good gaps. Kyle Penney scored a natural Hat-Trick. www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=266793he seems to be really turning it on lately. I'd like to see where scouts have him ranked now. Has good speed and hands, and is certainly not 5'4 as EP says haha.

Bathurst clinched a playoff spot with a win today. At this point the only team realistically standing in the Mooseheads way of making the playoffs is Drummond ville. They have 4 games remaining. 2 against Blainville and 1 against both Val dor and rouyn noranda. Halifax would still have to go on a 5 game win streak with Drummond ville not registering a single point. This post was a long way of saying thank God we will get a lottery pick.

I watch Andrew Coxheath yesterday moments of dominance but a little soft at times in corners for a big guy kind of reminds of Dasychsin

So does the league do the coin flip for the first pick right after the Season before the playoffs start? I am starting to think that if we get the 1st pick to take Groulx. The Mooseheads need offense and this would be a great time to fill that need. Either way I will be happy if they get McIsaac.

They do it durning the league awards, which I believe is usually just before the start of round 2.

Last year it was done on April 9; the day before the start of the second round on April 10.

Coxhead has a hell of a shot, between that, the size and the skating I think he's ready for the Q next year for sure. A couple other players from that game stood out, Diliberatore was pretty impressive on the back end. Evan MacKinnon is gonna be in this league by 17 I imagine. He's a smart player with some good skills. Wouldn't mind spending a second round pick on him. Logan Cash stood out from the Macs as well. Big center, plays a lot of minute, 7 points already in the playoffs. I doubt he makes it past the second round either, You could almost say.... this kid is money? (.... di..... did ya get it?)
