OMG OMG OMG ...we can still do this. Come on Captain ... post the possibilities. Just for you Little Stevie SJ has 87 points in 63 games Remaining: vs Char vs Mon at Bat at CB at CB Cats have 80 points in 64 games Remaining: at Hal at SNB vs Hal vs Bat Odds are still quite slim for the Cats...max they can get is 88 points...

As long as the Wildcats win all of their games in regulation or OT, they would hold the tie-breaker against SJ if they both finish with 88 points.

Actually I believe It's Wins in Regulation and OT right now both would have the same amount so it would go to the second tie breaker which I believe is goal differential which the Sea Dogs should be able to manage.

I was just going by what Tim Rozell was saying. He said that the Dogs could only clinch last night with a shootout loss but not an overtime loss. Not sure what each team's goal differential is at currently but I suppose that technically won't be known until the very last game is played, so perhaps he just didn't want to put the cart before the horse as it relates to goal differential.

I was listening to Marty and Mike, on the Cats broadcast, on the way to the rink, and they were saying SJ needed one point to clinch the division - no mention of how they got the point. That made me think SJ had the tiebreaker, and if it's Reg wins, that would be the case. I really wish they'd move to a 3 point system like in international hockey.

Still a chance. I could easily see there still being a chance this time tomorrow as well.
