Good fit for the Habs but it looks like overpayment for the Habs, I was thinking CBJ would add a 2nd or 3rd.
Before last season where he played and then missed a chunk of time with a shoulder injury...
18-19 82 GP 27-20-47 17-18 63 GP 19-11-30
Hopefully they checked medicals after his shoulder surgery.

Honestly I have never heard of Josh Anderson before........had to look him up...
Honestly, not surprised at all. Domi wants to play centre and in MTL there is no room up the middle.
Eric Engles said this 3-4 days ago.......Domi was the odd man out up the middle.
They needed help and size on the wing, and they got that in Anderson......even though I know nothing about the kid, other then he's a winger with size.

He had a fantastic year two years ago but was awful last year..... similar to domi I guess aside from being injured
I don’t understand why they had to add a pick either
If Anderson is healthy he will be a great 2nd line power forward in my opinion

Anderson should create space for guys like Suzuki and Drouin...plus score 20-25.

It will all depend at which version of each player we see going forward ... if it is 40 point Anderson vs 40 point Domi, it will be a big win ... if it is 10 point Anderson vs 70 point Domi ..... say no more.

He has a lot of similarities with Gallagher in terms of being a shoot first guy who can score from in tight or with a good wrister and isn't fun to play against. Obviously the size is quite different.

Anderson was a pretty consistent guy until last year where he fought a shoulder injury all year and finally got surgery in March. He was in and out of the lineup in Oct and Dec. He was first hurt in April 2019. Josh Anderson played through a shoulder injury in Round 2 of the postseason. Anderson was hurt in Game 2 against Boston. He also received a hit to the head on Monday in Game 6 from Charlie McAvoy, who got a one-game suspension, but Anderson returned to the contest. via Rotoworld. Assuming you play him with guys like Suzuki and Drouin who can pass the puck, I think 25-25-50 as a baseline is not out of reach. The dimension he brings to those guys, size, speed, physicality and net front presence should help Drouin and Suzuki be more productive.

If he plays like he did two years ago he will be a fan favourite no matter what production he puts up
He can score and bang... take care of teammates but he ain’t a disher I don’t expect 25-25.... if he gets 50 plus points it’ll likely be because he had 28-32 goals

Either way I would be fine with 27-20-47 with phsicality...

4-5 years at around 4-4.5M makes a lot of sense. Habs won't want to go 1 year, would make him a UFA. Domi signed 2 years at 10.6M...5.3M AAV...makes him a UFA in 20 months. Not ideal for CBJ, I would have gone 1 year at 5M-5.5M.

Who will the Habs look to add possibly tomorrow?
Hall? Duclair? Back to back cup champ, Patty Maroon?
