Will Orr of Bathurst be on the Move ? That's hard to say. He's absolutely a talented player, but he was traded off of two different contending teams last year because they didn't want to deal with him. That's a red flag I think teams will want to stay away from. I don't think that means he won't be moved, but... I'd be surprised if a team offered more than a 2nd... and it won't be Drummondville, Victo, Baie-Comeau or Rouyn, and it can't be Halifax I'm pretty sure (for several reasons)

For starters, I don't think he's the line driver in Bathurst. On top of that, he's requested two trades so far (and would absolutely have requested a 3rd if he wasn't moved to Bathurst).

Will Orr of Bathurst be on the Move ? Honestly for our team I think Orr would be a fine upgrade for the second half of the season. Wouldn't break the bank and is a skilled playmaker to hopefully Kickstart our goal scorers into actually scoring goals. The teams goal this year would be to get to second round (or better) so why waste a 1st + prospects when we can use them up next year when we need them more.

you guys haven't watched Orr that closely this season if you think he's not worth anything to a potential contender, sure it's unlikely we get a 1st or top prospect but...He really took a big step forward this season and actually looks interested out there which was something holding him back previously. I understand he's moved around a lot already but he's also one of the fastest players I've witnessed this season and is really talented. I can agree with arguments of Victo, Halifax, Baie-Comeau, and Rouyn not going for him compared to guys like Roelens, Reynolds, Horth, etc. but...
Drummondville makes a lot of sense to me to upgrade on Elliot, he would give them more offensive punch up front and feed the puck to a guy like Gauthier. Elliot is also from NB and can finish his final season close to home. The trade makes a lot of sense to me anyways.

Victo is the only team that seems locked for OA's
I can see all of Orr, Roelens, Reynolds, Horth, Mianscum (if sherbrooke falls), etc. moving to the contenders to fill out their rosters. Boutin is having a strong season as well too so maybe teams target him? But he seems a slight level below the rest.
Drummondville has 2 slots (Roy, Elliot), Rouyn 1 (Turcotte), Baie-Comeau 1 (Chouinard?), Halifax 1-2 (Fournier, open slot), Moncton 1 (Trenholm?), Cape-breton 1 (Shortall). All of these teams would make sense to upgrade.
Cape-Breton will likely upgrade on Shortall as well for more offense up front which they desperately need, but I can't see them paying big. Henneberry would look really good for CB and would come back next year as an OA.
maybe Moncton upgrades on Trenholm as well.
Shawinigan will be an interesting team to follow if they sell, both Booth and Menard could be solid adds for a contender on the backend, and maybe they move Toruigny early as well.
I think what's potentially lacking in this years trade market is the defense available, Luneau is the obvious big fish but besides him and Komarov in Quebec there aren't as many higher end guys.

He was never in the good books of Favreau when he was In Halifax. Pretty sure he will not being going to Drummondville.

Seems if Orr would be able to be moved it would likely be to Cape-Breton or Moncton then.

The past few years, Charlottetown and Drummondville were always good trade partners...
Will be interesting to see if they make another deal this trade period.

The Gendron thing is interesting. As for teams believe in their chances in the playoffs - I think that might just be a bargaining tactic. I'm sure some teams actually are, but... there are several teams I don't believe their GM actually believe that. A team like Sherbrooke actually might be serious, a team like Bathurst, probably not.

Exactly. It's Nov 17th. Just a bunch of bullshit GM speak they know will reach the ears they want. It's always shakes down the same. 5-6 teams go all in. 5-6 tinker or do nothing. And 5-6 sell whatever isn't bolted down

What teams will be looking to improve their D? SJ will be sellers but what do they have that teams might want? I would think Tivey might be the only one.
