13 minutes in and game 3 is nearing a sellout. Game 4 is not far behind. Playoff sellouts on Friday/Saturday games is impressive for us. Playoff sellouts on Monday and Tuesday games is phenomenal. Hopefully we will start to clean out some of the red ink that's been on the books for the entire Simon ownership era.

I feel like this is a pretty unique situation, are there any other Q teams outside the Halifax, Quebecs, etc that are selling out week day games in 20 minutes? Are other teams even selling out their playoff games in general?
Must be exciting to see on the business management side, the fruits of their labor, the teams identify, and obviously we've been starved for some success for ~15 years all coming together for the perfect storm of rebuilding the Eagles identity and core spot within the community.

Success means prices, days of the week, all suddenly mean less and less. $50 tickets for a Monday morning game would have sold for this team right now. I do feel for those who may have missed the announcement or don't use ticketmaster. Very quick turn around and there's sky high demand.

Those of us saying for years that the fans WILL support good things here are just seeing that proven. We support our own when our own make us proud. We have not had much to be proud about. We sulked about it. Debated it. Gave good ways to solve it. But it was always about finding a way to give us a winning product. We have enough built up frustration from over the years and the failed rebuilds that we 100% deserve this from the top on down. We can get back to being that team averaging 3200-3600 over 34 games with properly timed promotions and ultimately a good product. I think this will be the catalyst for some nice crowd numbers into next season.

A Buddy of mine just texted me and said he had to go in the Corner of the Upper Bowl , 3 rows from the top to get 4 seats together .

I remember the huge line for game 7 tickets vs Chicoutimi back in 2001. Probably took them all day to sell tickets that way back then.
We're looking at sellouts within the hour today with ticketmaster. Almost 15,000 tickets sold within 60 minutes.

Yep, I got tickets for all 3 games in the lower bowl but game 1 lower bowl was gone in 60-90 seconds lol.

A very interesting layer to note here is that if Sherbrooke doesn't come back from the void,
The Drakkar have been taken deep into OT in their past 2 games, while allowing 4 and 5 goals in each. They're very stacked on paper, but could they be showing clinks in the Armour? A couple correct bounces for the Titan and that's a 2-2 series.
I think coach Robitaille will be able to deploy the correct lines against both the Gill and Poirier lines. You will never neutralize them completely, but even to hinder their effectiveness just enough will be huge.

From 1500 per night to 15,000 sold in 2 hours for 3 playoff games. And i'm just blown away by the social media material they're pumping out. fb.watch/rw_t15s_o6/I'm sorry but I can't picture this environment in too many of our past locker rooms. Louis has these guys 100% bought in. His mood and demeanour are just positive and infectious and his kids are feeding off it.

They also did not hit Poirier as much as I thought they should. Keep him from shooting and he won't be as big of a factor. Gill and Melovsky are dangerous as well but not as dangerous as Poirier's shot is.
