The first two games ....Complete Sellouts in an Hour ......Nobody could have ever....ever....ever.... dreamed this at any point this Season . Nothing short of amazing ......Blown Away . From 1500 per night to 15,000 sold in 2 hours for 3 playoff games. And i'm just blown away by the social media material they're pumping out. fb.watch/rw_t15s_o6/I'm sorry but I can't picture this environment in too many of our past locker rooms. Louis has these guys 100% bought in. His mood and demeanour are just positive and infectious and his kids are feeding off it. Notice the sign hanging in the room in the first five seconds of the video: K-Keen (Preparation, Focus) I-Intimidating (Confidence, Compete, Physical play) L- Long Lasting (Resiliency, Outlast them) L- Loyalty (Brotherhood, Stick to the Plan) Everything printed on that sign is exactly what have gotten the team through the first two rounds. Both Game 1 of each series there has been no feeling out period, it's been boots on the ground in your face hockey. Rimouski and Chicoutimi had no answers for us anywhere on the ice after game one. They are the ones left needing to adjust to us. That's why there is 8 stickers on that sign through 2 rounds of playoff hockey. Coach Louis had the team meet with Canadian Military officials in Chicoutimi this week to hold a presentation on why a Military mindset can lead to team success. Stuff like this makes you think there really is something special here, we've got something more than just a good looking team on paper.

I have the eagles taking this in 6. offense is going at an unreal pace along with unreal goaltending they just swept a very good Chi team with a better goalie than Bae Comeau has. Bae Comeau has an elite offense and loves to play trap if the eagles can solve these two things they will be in good shape.

I know the owner has expressed interest in the Memorial Cup. These types of crowds can build a portion of the argument, for it, to the CHL.

That what makes conversations interesting. Saying that, they’re as close to 100% zero chance of this Cape team losing 4 straight. I will go as far to respectfully challenge this opinion with Cape depth and size and style of play will be very challenging for a “less physical style”. D aren’t as physical and goalies advantage tips to Cape again. They haven’t played a team with the depth yet. Titan gave a good solid push but again have only a few guys that play heavy. Too much room for some guys to execute. That is why teams play bc at the end of the day, our options don’t mean much since we aren’t on the ice.

This has the making of a great series! I think the Eagles and the Drakkar are similar teams and facing a much tougher challenge against each other.
Eagles need to shut down Poirier and Gill. Drakkar would need to solve Squires and Newcombe. Ruccia and Gravel are very, very close.
Robitaille will be looking to not have a repeat of last years round 3.
From one Island to another, let's go Eagles!!!

I have the caps in 5 the key will be special teams I think the key will be goaltending. Those two OT games in Bathurst when it mattered in the OT the Titan were stopped on clear breakaways that would have totally changed complexion of those games. Making key saves is what both CB and B-C do at critical times. And Ruccia is a big part of CB totally stopping a hot PP last series. It's sometimes not just making saves its the timing if the saves. Goaltending can make a penalty kill look great or bad.

Waiting for the “bars and restaurants” are busy news item. I can see a solid piece from the Steel City next weekend for games 1 and 2. They try and push the viewing parties for playoff games. Unfortunately we're limited in the amount of places we can go watch a big sporting event so to show off any buzz around town you're limited to 2-3 places.

Might be a dumb question, but isn't there a crossover for Semi Finals? or did that change this year? I'm guessing they did, based on: -- Quote from: chl.ca/lhjmq-eagles/article/eagles-top-sags-8-5-move-to-third-round-for-first-time-since-2007/– The Eagles will play either Baie-Comeau, Victoriaville, or Rouyn-Noranda in the third round of the playoffs. Should Drummondville eliminate Sherbrooke (Drummondville leads the series 3-1), the Eagles will play Baie-Comeau. Should Sherbrooke come back to win the series, the Eagles will play the winner of Victoriaville/Rouyn-Noranda (currently led 3-1 by Victoriaville).

I can't see Drummondville losing that series though all things considered.
