Wildcats host the SeaDogs on Sunday afternoon. Another good test for the Cats.. playing the team that is expected to win our division.
Close game, possibly a shootout.
Thoughts?

Like Friday, this should be a good game. Saint John has all of their team back, I believe. They will still likely need a couple more weeks before everyone gets used to each other, but it should still be another good test for the Cats.

The Sea Dogs probably still need some time to gel. The Dogs lost 3-1 against Sha and won 5-1 with Halifax. I wouldn't say that playing Halifax would have been a big test for them. Their game against Sha would have been seen as a kind of litnis (sp??) test. The score doesn't given the true story on how they played though. This has all the makings of another exciting game.

tough loss. Cats PP needs work. Mayer wins the battle. Yes i found that they seem to always do the seem pattern in the PP, mostly shots at the point. They would need someone to control the play on the sideboard like Famin for example. Moncton has given 4 5 on 3 goals in the last 2 games, they need to pay a little bit of attention on that. But nice Defensive game again tonight,

Another great battle between the Cats & Dogs!
I'm curious what do Moncton fans think will happen with Lahey he seems like he's doing quite well with Moncton and I assume Eagles and Sill are gonna stay on the team so it seems at some point they are gonna have to decide between Biduke & Lahey.

I don't think I've ever left the rink that frustrated. The reffing was horrible and ruined any sort of flow of the game. Our PP had soooo many chances, as Score said, a full five minute PP in the first (which I think is when we really blew it) and a full two minutes of five-on-three. We were lucky though to come out of that game with a point.. as I thought Saint John was by far the better team on the ice. We didn't come out hard.

On a positive note the fans behind the Sea Dogs bench managed to get in beaulieu's head so badly that he celebrated towards the fans like a kid that just got a new Playstation 3 for christmas after the OT goal.

I have a question on todays game. Why was we playing 5 on 3 in overtime. I though that it was 4 on 4 and us having the penalties it was 4 on 3.

Anybody know what exactly happened to Roski and if the injury was serious? Sure looked like he was in pain and holding his elbow.
