I'm sure Bissonnette has been told to work on getting Cisse to Moncton. Not saying it won't happen but I really think if he does it's gonna be a couple years he's happy right now where he is.

I would say that as it becomes more obvious that Cisse will be NHL material, he will have to accept that the best route to come to Moncton and play much more of the game, twice as many games, and learn from an NHL coach. I think that the Wildcats could replace his Education if needed. I wouldn't be surprised if he's here next year.

I think his mom is the big stumbling block right now.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. First of all, the USHL plays 60 games +preseason and playoffs. Coaching is very good.
Secondly, as someone mentioned before, Cisse is said to be very happy there. I don't know why someone had the idea he wants to be in the Q and his mom is preventing him from going. Pure speculation.
If he is NHL material, he will make it from college. If he isn't, he will have have a first rate education.

Cisse may be happy there, but a very good source told me that he'd be even happier here but his parents told him to for a year and then reconsider. Coming to Moncton he can still have the security of a first rate education, that doesn't really change.

I actually herd him on the radio, in septembre, on a kids show for radio canada (french). and he said he was very happy where he was. the show was about the ncaa vs the Q route. they had another player speaking as well but I don't remember who it was.

Whatever, as the kids say. It was not a bad parental decision IMO to have him take a year to think about it. Unfortunately, the draconian policies of the NCAA make it difficult for families.

Cisse's mother is an American and thinks that Major Junior in Canada is the same as junior in the US and like alot of Americans they think NCAA is better and that is the way to go, as it is in other sports.
