I we end up with the first pick in June I would love to see them pick a big power forward like Boston's Liclik( Spelling is off) I really think if we can get one we with the players coming back can really develop into a scoring machine in the next two seasons...

For the forwards you guys are talkin about from the NSMMHL Burke is by far the best of the first years, making U17's and all, but can't play in the big game. At U16's when he went he was invisible as well as when he's played Halifax Titans this year who are by far the best NSMMHL team this year. And on the goalies there Boucher and Jefferys aren't good at all and Whitney is just big and gets in the way. No rebound control what so ever. Brennen is the way to go there with the best GAA in the league as a first year. Finally O'Brien and Oliver-Dares. O'B has skills but is WAY to selfish with the puck and thinks hes the team when hes not at al. Oliver-Dares just has temper problems and will sit in the box all night with a smart team playin against him. Just what I see and have taken in when i've played with and against them. Agree. "Been around the ben" in the Q, as well as well as HNS. Scouts look for team play, theres no doubt these boys can make it to the Q, but it's in question if they can play there. Can't get hot headed in a game againts a better team. Can't be selfish with the puck for the points, and these are qualitys teams look for. It's easy to get rack up points againts worse teams, but when you don't produce againts better teams, your credibility is in question. And your right, I don't even think Boucher is a prospect at this point.

Just had to drop a reply to a couple of comments regarding Dares being a hot head and questioning him as a team player ..... definately not a hot head he has 18mins in penalties this season no 10mins no majors, and for the style of game he plays that is tremendous discipline ! When has he sat in the box all night due to temper problems ? just the opposite..... you want to see him at his best, hit him and try to get under his skin. all of the game sheets are on the NSMMHL website please provide the link witrh these games in which he was in the box all night, love to see it. Speak to his coaches both past and present and you will hear of the ultimate team player, would play any role asked of him and cares about nothing but he and his team mates winning, , and for a kid with these character flaws why was he chosen top prospect at the v-reds elite camp summer? very respected hockey people made that decision ! I feel bad for this kid sometimes cause he has constantly been the victim of rumors and BS started by people that don't know him from adam, and get their info 2nd and 3rd hand. or they have a personal axe to grind but hey this is NS and that is our way in the hockey world !! He is healthy now after a shoulder separation he will climb the draft rankings in the second half, great kid great player, ns should be proud of there 94's and promote them the best we can, don`t knock one kid to try and make another look better. good luck to all at this summers draft i hope you all go high

Best Bantam age player I have seen since James Sheppard . So I expect he will play just 1 year of Midget . Is he not thinking about NCAA ?

Ok so after a whopping 8 game losing streak, and now being 14 points out of a playoff spot I think its time to revisit the prospects. So if someone could maybe update the top 5 guys for the draft. You know states scouting report the whole 9 yards. Lala I'm looking at you.
Next since were looking at the 3rd overall pick in the euro draft to maybe give some insight on who might be a good pick for there?
