I noticed at the last pre-season game at the CCC that the video screens were back up at each end and also there looked to be projectors installed in the rafters at each end also. Does anyone know if the screens will be coming back full time?

The screens I think were always there, as were the projectors, they just weren't being used.

They were taken down after the Rocket stopped using them.

They were taken down after the Rocket stopped using them. 95% sure they stayed up.

They'll probably use them for the first game and then never use them again. They always have a bit more theatrics for the home opener.

they were up all last year, but i don't even think they'll use them for the home opener to be honest, cut backs remember folks....i miss having the replay screens but i highly doubt they'll be back, unless the Rocket start to sell out some games and the cash is flowing, that will be the excuse they use....

They never came down. Money is tighter this year than last so we won't be seeing them. I don't mind actually... it was ok but they really weren't that easy to see.

My mistake, I thought they took all that stuff down after they stopped using them mid-season.

best to just keep taking stuff away from the fans, as to attract more new season ticket holders......super buisness plan....

they were left up there because the civic centre uses them from time to time, or at least for the PBR (Bull riders)...i'm not sure the full story behind why they stayed up the whole time though...from what i heard they are still owned by Video Pro's...i'll bank on the idea that there's always the potential for them to "go back into service" spontaneously someday and taking them down with the looming idea that they may be used again would create a lot of work. Not a video guy, don't know the technicalities of whatever business went on with them, so what do i know!?

If all games are to be webcast this year ... it would seem logical that they would use them.

I was told that the screens will not be coming back as the Rocket and the company who did the replays could not come to an agreement. I am not sure why there will be no screens but unless something changes they will not be replays.
