Most talented Rocket/Islander in history.. AINEC
Was a pleasure to watch him these past few years and I think guys like him and Chlapik really made our reputation grow. We used to be a very undesirable market like the Titan, Drakkar, back in the Savard days, but we have brought in plenty of high quality talent through the draft and have seen the large majority show up, except for a couple of Sonier's mishaps.

Personally think Chabot is better than Sprong.. however Conor Garland and Daniel Sprong don't even remotely compare to each other. Sprong had 7 points in 10 AHL PLAYOFF games while Garland, a year older, has only 11 points in over 50 regular season games. Sprong has already played in the show and did not look one bit out of place in the games I seen him play, despite only scoring two goals in the 18 games he played. 18 more games than Garland will ever play in the NHL Funny one to look back and read

The Garland hate was strong in the Maritimes outside of his home arena And in Quebec also. He's still living rent free in a few Victoriaville fans heads. It's interesting to read back some of the commentary. Even after he started putting up points in the NHL he still had many doubters on here. For my money the most entertaining player I have watched in the Q when considering the total package. Hard to imagine it ever being replicated. He improved the atmosphere of nearly every building he went to. Like movies and tv shows, with a good villain there is always more investment. Often times in Moncton that villain ends up being the officiating. How often does a quit tuesday night game suddenly have the fans engaged because of a few bad calls? in the majority of Q arenas for a few years Garland was that villain.
