Cameron would be amazing if you can get him to want to come back closer to home. Might be a good fit.

Flynn has won championships in the Soo, Moncton, Saint John ... not a good example of a coach who usually has good teams come up short. When Flynn has a contender, he knows how to get it done.

Flynn has made 6 trips to the Memorial Cup , He has never won one as head coach/gm. He is a good coach /gm but never won it all ! I Guess I was spoiled watching Brian Kilrea’s teams !

Kilrea system is legendary he liked to carry 3 20's 6 19's 6 18's 6 17's and the odd 16 year old if his team was in contention to win he had flexibility to trade good 17's for stronger 19's in any case this system allowed Ottawa to make the playoffs on a yearly basis
contender to worst franchises ever has to be my hometown Sudbury Wolves and if you are a history buff check out there record since the mid 1960's ... hehe when I was dating my wife in 1967 on the way to a show she asked me if I wanted to go to a Wolves game and the rest is history as this August will be our 50th anniversary ... coincidently 1967 was the last time My Leafs won a Cup

Kilrea always rolled 4 lines and dressed 7 defenceman, and if he needed to pick up an overager at the deadline he liked to pick someone that was from the Ottawa area . Those players tended to play some of their best hockey in front of their family and friends in their last season !

Brian Kilrea won 2 Memorial Cups in something like 35 years of coaching Ottawa. In that same period he won 3 OHL championships ... 3 in 35 yrs. I'm not suggesting he wasn't a good Coach but taken over a 35 yr time period I don't see that being better than Flynn.

In hockey lingo, "playing 4 lines" means having 12 forwards dressed and all of them playing a regular shift. Not having 11 and spotting the last two in.
