I hope that if they do in fact trade down to grab Whynot that they have an ace up there sleeve ( Reynolds) for later on in the draft. Could the player from the Drakkar be Yan Aucoin? He would be a much needed presence on the back end.... There is for sure going to be a big log jam up front with the additions of Stairs and Drover playing full time as well as the 2019 draft class/ Euro selection. We will have to see some movement for certain. The French board posters are saying they’ve heard that Moncton is taking Whynot. So SJ May not be able to move down for him. Sj may not reasonably be able to move down at all. |

When you say BC player do you mean Boston College or British Columbia? Baie Comeau is trading a player to SJ to complete the D'Orio deal Oh, the OTHER BC. Completely slipped my mind. |

Aucoin is headed to Bathurst but I'd be ecstatic if we could swing a deal for him I am surprised that it wasn’t announced along with the Element deal... |

A week out from the draft. We need to walk out of the draft with a top forward (Roy or Robidas) and would like at least 1 D and 1 more FW that will make the roster at 16. Given that we haven't announced the BC player, i think we're going to move the player. I hope that either we announce 2 trades at once (in and out) or wait until the 12th to make it official as a sign of respect to the player. I hope we trade a couple of the depth guys to teams where they will get a better crack. We NEED a vet D. Personally, I think the reason SJ wants to trade down is because they have a deal with a certain player. Could be Reynolds or it could be Zachary Bolduc. If it's the latter, Saint John will have to fork out $25000 as Bolduc has already registered to play prep next season for Mount St Charles Academy in Rhode Island. |

You are the biggest ass kissing Kool Aid drinker I know. You could say the same about pretty much every previous GM we had. Took someone long enough to hire a GM that wouldn't run their mouth and/or abuse their trust for financial gain. I bet that Coldplay concert was fucking awesome though. 😅 |

I’m hearing that the 20year old coming from BC . Is either sacha roy or Thomas eithier. We need a vet D but both are underwhelming 20’s. Who I think there would be better FA or trade targets available.

Roy would bring some toughness but not much more. |

With as much skill as it seems the Sea Dogs will have next season I have no issue bringing in a physical character guy. Keep other teams in line.
