Makes no sense have PO on the market so your not going for it this year but gonafter a 19 year old goalie that will cost quite a bit to be mediocre? The PO trade is a mutually beneficial one though. We're getting pieces in return to still be competitive this year.

Still makes no sense to waste big assets on D’Orio. I’m sure there’s cheaper options. If your dealing POnyour giving up on this year you may still want to be competitive but your wasting assets on a star goalie and trading a star Dman again might make sense to you but not to me not a fan of this tactic at all.

The Dogs must have had a deal in place for D’Orio that fell through. Why else would he be sat out as a healthy scratch for so many games and now come back and play back to back games. Unless he has been nursing an injury.

Wouldn’t be shocked if a 16 year old is traded

I liked Larose. I had him pegged as a 20 and possibly the captain in a couple of years when this team should be ready to contend, but this deal seems to good to pass up. I think he'll do better on a better team.

Wouldn’t be shocked if a 16 year old is traded i wouldn't either at some point you need to stagger the age group somewhat....... not all of these high profile 16 year olds will be on this team when it reaches maturity

Wouldn’t be shocked if a 16 year old is traded my guess is Stairs is the odd man out. Drover, Lawrence, Burns, Villeneuve, Desroches, Poirier all seem to be locks. unless you can only keep 5 of those 6, but in that case that's a tough decision to make.

I haven’t seen stairs play yet (however, I’ve heard he’s played well as a seadog) the fact is he was the one left off the team so it only makes sense that he would be the odd man out. With that said, some of these 16 year olds were suppose to be ncaa bound but changed their mind to play for the seadogs. So does it make them hard to trade?

Unless one is asking for a trade, I can't see any of them being moved. They seem to be going all in on 2022 which is a Q host year.

Stairs is playing as affiliate and was only going to play in 10 games this year. He has already played in six. If it is true that Lawrence will be out for a while with an illness then that takes care of that problem for a while. If Lawrence is not out long term with 30 some games left if they sat each of them out 1 out of every 5th or 6th game.

It might be the case one needs to be scratched. So they can have six on the roster but only five can dress.

The games Stairs plays while Cajkovic is at the World Junior's doesn't count towards the 10 games.

The way this team has been managed I would say they are going all in with their crop of 2002 borns. They've paid a big price to get this group together (including a multiple basement dwelling seasons) so I don't think there is any reason to trade one. I wouldn't be surprised to see Jack Williams report in 2 years time.
